A Letter to Brad

Hi Brad,

You wrote an email to Dr. William Pierce, and a copy of your message was routed to me so that I could reply on his behalf. We're not certain where you picked up certain historical falsehoods, but we want you to know the truth, and so I will begin by correcting a few misapprehensions that you might have picked up in Political Correctness school.

You wrote, "Black people invented the steam locomotive."

No, they didn't. The steam locomotive was invented in 1804 by Richard Trevithick, an Englishman. Another Englishman, George Stephenson, improved Trevithick's design in 1929 by developing a locomotive that ran on smooth rails.

You wrote, "Black people ... invented the gas mask, without which millions of American soldiers, Black and White, would have died."

No, not really. The gas mask was invented in 1916 by Garrett A. Morgan, a mulatto with a substantial White genetic endowment--a fact that becomes obvious if you look at his photograph. His lips, while thicker than those of most purer White men, are thinner and less everted than those of most Blacks. His forehead has the Nordic loftiness, not the African backsweep. His jawbone is not noticably prognathous, as is the case for most Blacks. His nose, while wider than the typical European, is not as wide or as flat as the noses usually found on most Blacks. He is described as being descended from slaves, but he was also descended from the Whites who owned those slaves. It was the White part of Morgan's heritage that enabled him to be so inventive. Relatively pure Blacks are not inventive, as a rule. I can send you images of Garrett Morgan, if you want them.

You wrote, "Black people ... invented the toilet."

Not true. Toilets that worked by drainage were used in 2500 BC by the Indus Valley civilization (which was White) and in 2100 BC by the ancient Egyptians (who were White at that time). The first _flushing_ toilet in the world was invented at the Palace of Knossos on Crete in 1600 BC and was invented by the ancient (White) Minoans. The introduction of flushing toilets in modern times was done in 1738 by J.F. Brondel (an English architect), and a man named Thomas Crapper (an English plumber) held patents for toilet design improvements in 1890. Quite a few other toilet designers have been responsible for modifications here and there, and possibly a mulatto was somewhere among them, but this is quite far from saying that "Black people invented the toilet," now, isn't it?

You wrote, "Black people ... invented the internal combustion engine."

Also not true. The internal combustion engine was invented in 1892 by Rudolf Cristian Karl Diesel, a Franco-German born in Paris on March 18, 1858. Most of the subsequent developments from Diesel's invention were made by Germans, Americans or Englishmen.

You wrote, "A Mexican invented the color picture tube."

False. The first TV picture tube was invented in 1929 by a Russian named Vladimir Zworykin, while he was doing work for Westinghouse. The color picture tube was invented in 1944 by a (White) American named Willard Geer.

You wrote, "Black people ... invented peanut butter ... We wouldn't have peanut butter if it wasn't [sic] for a Black man named George W. Carter [sic]."

Correct. I think. So far as I know, peanut butter was first made by George Washington Carver (not Carter), a Black man. (Much Blacker, at any rate, than Garret A. Morgan.) Carver is also, falsely, credited with inventing many other things, including "paint" and "dye" and "paper" - all of which existed in ancient times and were invented either by Whites or by Asians.

I'm not certain where you are getting your misinformation, but you should at least suspect that the National Alliance has done its homework and would not claim White superiority in inventive capability if it weren't demonstrably true.

When you judge a race, don't get too close to its individual members. There's a tendency to assign to the whole group the traits of those members with whom you spend the most time, and you spend your time with them because they are the ones that make you feel the least uncomfortable. Thus, there is a built-in bias involved in judging races in this manner.

Instead, you should judge races by comprehensive statistical information, compiled over the years by competent observers. The substantial difference between White and Black U.S. citizens in regard to their tendencies to engage in violent behavior, for example, can be better judged from the FBI's Uniform Crime Reports than from your Black "pals" at school. My summary of the government's crime statistics can be found at
http://www.jabpage.org/features/racestat/racestat.htm.

When we White Nationalists (people who want a "homeland" for White people) say that the races should be separated, we are not expressing hatred for any particular Black. Some Blacks are, as you say, good people. But they can be just as good when they are in a country with other Black people. They don't have to mix with Whites to be good. And separating the races will prevent racial hatred from arising. How often do you need to worry about a Black, if he is in Kenya or Uganda? Which "White racist" in America hates a Black in Nigeria? Separating the races won't inhibit anybody's goodness, but it WILL prevent interracial violence/hostility.

Furthermore, the races ARE different. Not only physically, but also psychologically and behaviorally. When two races are present in the same country, subject to the same laws, they will not, as a rule, be equally well governed. The laws that keep one race orderly and productive often moves the other race to some sort of violent activity. Separate the races into different sovereign countries, and each race can have the laws that are best for it. Racial separation brings out the best in races. It allows each race to be all that it can be. Racial mixing is equivalent at best to forever apologizing for eternally stepping on somebody's toes - and things can get A LOT WORSE than that.

Sincerely yours,

Jerry Abbott
