Blacks and Benton Harbor
The consequences of a racial demographic shift.
The following article was printed in THUNDERBOLT magazine following the latest outbreak of Black riots in that heavily negrified town.
The decline, decay, and collapse of Benton Harbor
The Model TownBack in the 1940s, Benton Harbor was a model town, and it was all White. Across the river was another town, St. Joseph, which was smaller and not nearly as nice. Benton Harbor had the factories, the nice homes, and a thriving tourist industry, attracted by its beautiful waterfront. It had an excellent hospital, clean streets, and very little crime.
Then came World War II. Fifteen million men were in uniform and the factories were desperate for workers and paid good wages. Even the lazy, undependable, and unproductive could get jobs. Blacks came to Benton Harbor to work in the factories.
Today, older Blacks in Benton Harbor recount how nice it was back then. They say that at first the Whites welcomed them. Then as more Blacks came, the Whites were less friendly. As soon as there were a few Black families in a neighborhood, the Whites began to leave. Other Whites didn't want to buy the houses that they were abandoning, so home prices fell. Whites lost money selling. And the low prices attracted more Blacks or landlords, who picked the homes up cheap and rented them to Blacks.
In 1950, Benton Harbor was still 89% White. And for a long time Whites and Blacks still lived in separate neighborhoods, but the Black neighborhoods grew. Blacks began complaining and demanding.
In August 1967, Blacks rioted, burned, and looted. In those days, the police were allowed to fight back and make arrests. The battle raged until the governor sent 1,000 national guardsmen to put down the anarchy in this town of only 10,000.
In 1967, the Whites also lost a Federal school discrimination lawsuit. They began leaving in droves, abandoning homes for which there were no buyers. Safety of their familes were more important than money or even their roots in their once-beloved town. Many went across the river to the less desirable St. Joseph, which was still basically all White.
In 1971, a Federal court found that the Benton Harbor schools were still discriminating. In 1981, a Federal judge forced the schools to sign a "voluntary" busing plan. The Whites called it "forced voluntary busing." But by then only 13% of the population was White. Today Benton Harbor is over 92% Black. The Whites were driven out.
Benton Harbor today: a Third World city
The statistics for Benton Harbor are grim: 40% of the residents do not have a high school diploma; 70% of children have no father in the home; and 50% of adults have no job. Its poverty rate is the highest in Michigan, and it is the Blackest city in Michigan. Social workers say that in this town of 11,240 there are 2,000 either homeless or living in buildings where the utilities have been disconnected for nonpayment.
Crime is rampant. Benton Harbor has one of the highest murder rates in the U.S.
Benton Harbor has largely become a gritty slum. Some say it looks like a ghost town. Most of the downtown businesses are boarded up. The hospital closed as did the last movie theater. The newspaper abandoned its building and moved to St. Joseph. The buses are gone as are all the taxicabs.
But there are plenty of people. You can see them on the streets—men leaning against cars, speaking in whispers. You can see other men standing by a house drinking from bottles in brown paper bags. As a police car drives by, they shrink back into the shadows.
More frightening is that women are no better. One reporter described seeing two women standing talking on the sidewalk. Eash had a baby in one arm and was drinking out of a bottle in a paper bag with the other. And occasionally you see fornication in public.
Girls 13 or 14 and even younger have babies. There are lots of children in Benton Harbor; over half the population is under 25.
While a few homes are well kept, many look like they should be condemned. This was once a beautiful town where the poor and rich alike had well-kept homes.
Whites Rebuild
When Whites abandoned teir homes and roots in Benton Harbor, many fled across the river to the less desirable St. Joseph. They built new homes and stores and the town flourished like never before. Soon St. Joseph was the model community that Benton Harbor had once been. Despite the population influx, St. Joseph's official unemployment rate is 2% versus 25% for Benton Harbor. It gradually began to attract tourists and develop a picturesque waterfront and quaint shops. It has much better schools and much less crime than Benton Harbor, but it will never be what Benton Harbor once was. Sometimes when they think it is safe, older Whites slip back across the neighborhoods just to see where they grew up and raised their families. They drive through downtown and remember what a pleasant place it once was. Their old homes are falling apart and most of the stores are boarded up and abandoned, but the memories are still there among the ruins.
Schools in Michigan give their students a test devised under the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP). Benton Harbor is 92.4% Black. About one-quarter of its students pass the MEAP test.
Meanwhile, the neighboring town of St. Joseph is only 5% Black. Over two-thirds of St. Joseph's students pass the MEAP test. I mention this contrast because it is well-correlated with the contrast in the crime situation. The factor common to both the scholastic disparity and the crime rate disparity is: R A C E.
Between June 16th and June 20th, 2003, Blacks rioted in Benton Harbor after a nigger, fleeing from police on a motorcycle, hit a bump, sailed through the air, and smacked into the wall of a building at about 70 miles per hour. Always ready to blame "Whitey" for their troubles, the Black residents started lying to each other about what happened, and then they began to believe their own lies.
A Negro male said that he "saw" the police officer ram the motorcycle rider. Then another Negro, a female, said that she saw a "dint" in the police car where the motorcycle was hit. Undoubtedly such statements had a strong emotional effect on the other Negroes, and they probably triggered this particular riot. Truth and Blacks just don't go together. After the riots, the male admitted that he had been lying, and an examination of the police car revealed that there was no dint.
The police, during the riots, were ordered not to shoot or otherwise use force to suppress the Blacks as they demolished or set fire to one building after another in Benton Harbor. The riot was for that reason much more destructive than it might have been. No racial group, except Whites, would employ such foolish restraint in the face of massive violence by a racially foreign mob. The Jews, much as they preach that sort of extreme "brotherhood" over here, would never advocate it in Israel, and if a Black (or Arab) mob started burning buildings in Haifa or Tel Aviv, their soldiers would shoot and kill every single rioter. That's how it should be here, too!
The media played their usual tricks. Here are some actual quotes by Blacks concerning the Benton Harbor riots.
"Terrance was a good guy... Why would the police officer pursue him? ... I think it has to do with racism."
It might also have something to do with his speeding through a residential neighborhood on a motorcycle while disregarding the stop signs, the fact that his driver's license was suspended, or the drugs found in his pocket."There just ain't no justice here."
Sure there is. The nigger carelessly killed himself during the course of a crime while fleeing from police. If you don't like that kind of justice, go back to Africa."They've got a lot of stuff over there [in St. Joseph], so why not over here? We feel like we ain't got nothing to live for any way. That's why there's a lot of violence."
The Whites in St. Joseph built their wealth. You niggers can't compete because you have a hereditary intelligence deficit. You need, and expect, a handout. They don't. You have more violence in your town because you have a genetic predisposition toward violence: you are a criminal race."You have to know someone to get a factory job. Even then it is not guaranteed. There is a 90-day probationary period and many times they fire you before 90 days."
Many employers want references. They fear getting ripped off by workers who are not trustworthy. The probationary period is a modest safeguard which protects the employer from the worst offenders, whose tendencies toward theft and violence manifest within the first three months of hire. Given that Benton Harbor is almost entirely Black, it makes sense that the employers would use their option to get rid of troublemakers frequently."I'm going to be heard, one way or the other."
I wish that White politicians and police officers could be made to realize that Blacks will continue to riot until Black rioters start getting killed as a matter of routine. Giving them what they want following a riot simply encourages more riots. In a sense, rioters are hostage-takers, with an entire community as their immediate victim and with surrounding communities being threatened as possible future victims. 1"There are a lot of people in this community who are upset with the way Black folks are being treated."
Being treated—by whom? Benton Harbor is nearly all Black. Blacks rule there. Things are done in Benton Harbor the Black way. Benton Harbor is what the Blacks have made of it. Blacks whine and blame White people for their own shortcomings. It does not matter that no actual Whites can be identified as the source of their difficulties."If I don't get no justice, there ain't going to be no peace."
The old extortionist's cliche. Hey, porch-monkey, which gang of White criminals burst into your house and stole all your valuables? Did a mob of White rioters rampage through your town and burn all the buildings down? I must not have heard about it. By "justice" you really mean "loot," which shows that what you're calling justice is really the injustice of threatening violence unless somebody pays you off."They can keep all these extra enforcements out forever, and when they're gone, something else is going to happen."
Go back to Africa, you stinking nigger, and get out of my country."They harass us, they pull us over for nothing. We (are) fed up."
Negroes are the foremost perpetrators of murder, robbery, rape, arson, vandalism, drug-dealing, car-jacking, and just about every other crime of violence, theft and moral turpitude you can imagine. When the police show a presence in a Black area, the Blacks complain that they're being unfairly scrutinized. When the police leave it alone, the Blacks complain that they don't get police protection."We gonna kill the cops, it ain't over. It's gonna be a whole lot of drunk nights."
The Blacks whine, the politicians pretend to believe them, and the police become demoralized losers: shot at and forbidden to shoot back."We're tired of it now. We're tired of it."
You're tired of own race's criminal nature. Blacks always create a cultural cesspool, no matter where they go, no matter what outside support is given them.
Besides pretending to take the Blacks' whiney complaints and self-righteous justifications seriously, the local media engaged in misleading abstraction. For example, they spoke of "institutional racism." Benton Harbor is over 90% Black today. Which institution is lathering Benton Harbor's niggers with racism?
If all the White people in America were to move to Australia, would this prevent Blacks from alleging that their problems were the result of White racism? No. Hardly. In that case, Black leaders would be saying that White racism somehow emanated from Australia to find its sneaky way, somehow or other, into Benton Harbor.
And, if White Americans moved to Australia, all the rest of North America would quickly become as slummy as Benton Harbor did in the years following WW2. That's right: according to "Black logic," the influence of White racism grows stronger in direct proportion to the increasing distance of the nearest majority-White communities. Blacks ask how it could be otherwise, since neighborhoods always get worse when the Whites who had been living in them move out. Duh.
The myth that Blacks' problems are caused by White racism has practical benefits.

Yes, indeed! The niggers burned down some buildings, and the White taxpayers will now have to build them new ones. The "White racism" myth has enabled the Blacks to shift the costs of their own miscreant behavior to others, to Whites who didn't destroy anything. Blacks gloat mightily over "victories" like this.
The media also mentioned "The smoldering combination of poverty, crime and segregation."
Benton Harbor was segregated in the 1940s—segregated by being all White. There wasn't much poverty or crime there then. But after Blacks started moving in, violent Black crime and the costs of providing for Black incompetents caused the White residents to move away.
A bit of thinking reveals the enormity of the media's duplicity. Trouble isn't caused by segregation. White people begin having racial troubles when segregation breaks down, and the trouble eventually becomes so great that the Whites must flee to save themselves and their families from the predation of Black criminals.
The media described "a cauldron of hopelessness and resentment" and "unemployment, despair, and lack of hope."
These are abstractions that mean little without the proper context, which I will provide.
Blacks get their resentment and sense of hopelessness because they are an inferior race. In a culturally advanced world, they simply can't compete with Whites for jobs because, by and large, they don't have the necessary intelligence.
Blacks are hired mostly when the government requires, by law, that Blacks be hired. The Blacks who are hired for that reason do not merit their jobs and, in a free market, would not have received them.
By forcing Blacks to be hired with "Affirmative Action" laws, the government weakens the ability of U.S. businesses to produce affordable goods of high quality, and as a result American manufacturers start losing business to foreign competitors who do not suffer from "Affirmative Action" programs.
Blacks are culturally inferior because they are genetically inferior. They are genetically inferior because their racial evolution was retarded by the relative ease of tropical living, compared to the harshness of climate experienced by the ancestors of modern Europeans during the last Ice Age.
Compared with Whites, Blacks have smaller and simpler brains. For that reason, Blacks have lower general intelligence. For that reason, Blacks generally perform worse than Whites on measures of intelligence or of scholastic ability, and on performance evaluations for mentally demanding jobs.
There is a place in the world for Blacks: tropical Africa. They should be returned there. We owe them nothing; on the contrary, they owe us for the "leg up" we've given them. Blacks also owe Whites for the damage they have inflicted on White society in general, and on White people in particular.
Let them return to Africa, and we will consider the bill paid. Otherwise, in order to survive ourselves, we will have to present it for payment under circumstances that they will not be able to refuse.
By the way, after a mob of 300 Blacks torched much of Benton Harbor, the police arrested 12 people—half of whom were White. None of the arrests was riot-related. No one was arrested for the fifty arsons of homes and automobiles, or for throwing bricks at firefighters and ambulance drivers, or for dragging Whites out of their homes and beating them. You get the idea that the Whites were arrested purely for the sake of "racial balance."
About two weeks later, in Fremont, Michigan, some of the same state troopers who had been at the Benton Harbor riots cornered a White man who was wanted for a single crime. The officers provoked him into a fight, then demonized him to the media. After that, the cops invaded his home, armed with machine guns, and took what they wanted to take. The following day, they bombed and destroyed his house.
A racial double standard, perhaps? Are the police "taking it out" on small-time, one-crime White offenders for the frustration they feel at not being allowed to do their jobs properly in regard to the more dangerous Black criminals?
1 When government, through the police forces, gives in to Black rioters' demands, it proves two things. First, the government's "war on terrorism" decidedly does not include acts of terror perpetrated by the politically favored Blacks and, therefore, the war on "terrorism" is a political farce whose real aim is subjugating, if not exterminating, White Americans. Second, it proves that government itself is controlled by people hostile to the White race, and a study of who the federal policymakers are reveals that this hostile element is mostly Jewish.
