Part 1. Erich becomes a rogue executive.

Dr. William Pierce died in July 2002. Someone who did not know him well cannot appreciate what he meant to the National Alliance, the organization he founded and built into the foremost White nationalist organization in the United States.

After the Founder's death, the National Alliance Board of Directors selected Erich Gliebe as the new Chairman because, at that time, he appeared to be the best available man for the job. A year passed, during which one member of the National Alliance Board, the then-treasurer Dr. Bob DeMarais, resigned over what he considered to be Erich's mismanagement of the corporation's assets. Another National Alliance Board member, Fred Streed, took over Dr. DeMarais' duties, in addition to his own busy routine.

From that point in time, the NA National Office staff members became generally aware that the National Alliance was losing money and members, resulting in a bad financial hemorrhage that was taking the National Alliance, and its daughter corporations, slowly but with massive inertia toward bankruptcy. As the result, the very people who had put Erich Gliebe into power a year previously had, by the beginning of August 2003, determined that Erich was incapable of effectively handling the position of Chairman of the National Alliance, and so they called upon him to resign.

My time with the National Alliance goes back about 16 or 17 years, 11 of that on staff.

About '85 or '86 I read a book called The Turner Diaries that I ordered from an add in a gun magazine. Included with The Turner Diaries was a catalog for other books and a report entitled "Who Rules America?" It literally changed my life. For the first time I started thinking seriously about some of the problems I could see around me and I decided eventually to do whatever I could to help solve some of the problems. I began corresponding with Dr. Pierce and in the Summer of '92 I traveled to Hillsboro, W.V., and took a job with the National Alliance.

The NA had only recently moved to WV from Arlington, Va., and there wasn't much there. There was a big metal structure that Dr. Pierce was trying to build into offices, a rundown old farm house with no insulation and a leaky roof, and a couple of cheap trailer houses. I was hired to help build the place. The first two or three years I spent digging ditches and pouring concrete. Those early years were some of the most rewarding for me personally. The entire staff worked hard to build not only the infrastructure but the organization. Twelve and fourteen hour days were common but we were idealistic and we approached our jobs with an essentially religious attitude. The NA was built with a lot of hard work and perseverance, it wasn't just handed to us on a silver platter. There was never enough money or people to accomplish all the things we wanted to do so we had to choose carefully where to invest our limited resources. With Dr. Pierce at the helm we built the NA, National Vanguard Books, and Resistance Records into what it was when Dr. Pierce died.

After Dr. Pierce's death last year the board of directors was faced with the task of selecting a new chairman to head the NA. We didn't have a lot of time in which to act, at the time there seemed to be a real danger that the NA would splinter into competing factions each claiming to be the real NA and from there degenerate into a legal battle for control of the NA assets. So Erich Gliebe was appointed chairman by the board of directors. He was well known by the membership, almost everyone was familiar with his name and it was thought he would provide a rallying point for the membership. He was also CEO of Resistance Records and was familiar with the business side of our outreach programs. Our book sales and resistance music were primarily a means of educating people and attracting them to our cause, profits were used to grow the organization and were funneled back into the business.

Chairman Gliebe has now had a year as head of the National Alliance, National Vanguard Books, and Resistance Records. The organization is indeed still intact. But not without problems.

Two months ago Dr. Bob Demairas quit the staff over what he felt were irresolvable problems with Chairman Gliebe's leadership. The fact that he had quit was kept as quiet as possible, evidently on the assumption that if we didn't talk about these problems they would somehow go away. Prior to Bob quitting, construction on the new meeting hall had slowed to a crawl due to a lack of funds. Bob had warned over and over that we had cash flow problems. I ended up assuming some of Bob's duties, paying the bills and doing some of the bookkeeping. It rapidly became obvious that we had a problem. I would discuss my concerns with Erich but nothing ever changed. We have continued to spend more money than we are bringing in. I also took on the job of opening the incoming mail and it didn't take long to see that a lot of our subscribers to National Vanguard Magazine and Resistance Magazine were getting real unhappy with the magazines being chronically late. Complaints came in almost daily. Resignations from the NA were also arriving at the rate of several a week. Membership has been declining since December of 2002. Most don't send in a letter of resignation, they just quit paying their dues and it takes 6 months before they are dropped from the membership roles. That's right, people who are essentially dropping out right now will not show up as a loss for 6 months.

Another major problem that has become critical is the ongoing internet flame wars with any person or organization that dares to criticize the NA leadership or to expose some of the problems we are having. Our critics are denounced as either Jews or secret government agents involved in a plot to destroy the NA leadership or to wrest control of the NA away from the "rightful" leaders. One thing that needs to be made clear at this point is that Dr. Pierce did not, and would not, recommend a successor. I pressed him on the issue, his response was that we were going to have to make that decision for ourselves. I asked him if there were anyone at all he would like to see in charge of the NA after he was gone. His answer was yes, but none of those people were available, they were all dead. Dr. Pierce did not endorse ANYONE as his successor. He did make sure a board of directors was in place and he left the responsibility to us to make the transition after he was gone. My point is that the leadership of the NA aren't divinely selected, they are not above question. Bill White's web site, overthrow .com, has been used by people who have a vested interest in attacking the NA, but it has also been used to air some legitimate criticism. Almost ANYONE can utilize Bill White to get his message out, and that includes the NA. The NA leadership could have been using Overthrow.com to communicate our message the same way Billy Roper or any of several others do. We could have used it for a weekly, or even daily, press release that reaches far more people per day than anything we have "in house". And it wouldn't have cost us one damned red cent. The same goes for VNN. But instead of seeing these sites for the information clearing houses they are and using them as another tool to spread our message the NA has instead let the situation degenerate into a series of personal attacks and have done everything we could to make enemies out of the people involved.

We have tried dismissing these web sites as unimportant, even making the asinine assertion that "nobody reads those sites anyway". VNN and Alex Linder have repeatedly bent over backwards to promote the NA and have gotten ingratitude and insults in return.

We have allowed some of our more irrational members to engage in almost nightly attacks on Bill White and Alex Linder on various internet forums and to do so as open NA members. Dr. Pierce would never have allowed that to happen, he would have dropped any member who persisted in engaging in such activity. The response of the NA leadership toward people who are basically on our side and should be our allies has been shortsighted in the extreme and is not in the best interests of anyone. In fact if ZOG were to completely take over the NA they would have to work hard to come up with anything more damaging for the NA than our present leaderships failure in this regard. When I would bring this topic up with Erich he would agree that yes, it was damaging to our image, but he would never do anything to stop it. And that is exactly what his response to all but the most trivial leadership decisions is; he fails to act.

Erich seems to be almost constitutionally incapable of making hard decisions. He will delay making important decisions using the excuse that he needs more information, he puts it off until either the time and need for a decision passes or it reaches a crises and someone else makes the decision. One staffer described it as information overload, Erich gets conflicting advice from too many different people and then doesn't know whose advice to take so he does nothing. It is as if he is so afraid of making the wrong decision that he refuses to make a decision at all.

He has other personality traits that make him ineffective as a leader. I don't want to make this an attack on him personally but it impacts the entire NA. He will go to great lengths to deny reality when it is unpleasant to face up to something. He will steadfastly refuse to admit something is a problem at all if it is something that requires him to take action or make a decision. His reaction to repeated warnings that the NA is overextending financially is to just ignore it and keep spending money as if no problem exists. His reaction to the fact that the NA has lost membership for several months now is to either deny it or to justify it somehow and dismiss it as unimportant. I could go on and on.

One school of thought holds that Dr. Pierce's legacy is not the NA, but is instead the body of work he left behind such as his books and radio speeches that continue to inspire and motivate people all over the world. Perhaps the National Alliance should be seen as merely a tool he used to do his work, and perhaps it will die with it's founder. My personal feeling is that a lot of people invested a lot of work and energy into building the NA, it has cost some very dearly, think of Chester Doles. Think of Mrs. Wheeler. The NA is still a very viable organization and we still have most of our assets. I was talking with Dave Pringle today and he thinks our membership is higher quality and our units better organized than ever. I believe this to be true. But there are some very serious problems with our center. If these problems are not dealt with in the very near future the NA will slide into irrelevance or worse. Bill White estimates two years. I give it one until serious problems set in. The reserve funds will run out, we will have to resort to emergency fund appeals to keep us afloat but by that time membership numbers will be rapidly declining.

We will reach a point where we won't be able to pay our debts and the real estate will either have to be sold or will be locked up for nonpayment of taxes. Yes it can happen.

I no longer have a voice in the leadership of the NA and I, along with my wife, will probably be leaving the staff at some point in the near future. I know what I have said here will cause many to attack me as a traitor or government agent trying to destroy the Alliance, hell, some will probably believe I was a ZOG infiltrator all along who spent 11 years digging ditches, fixing plumbing problems, plowing snow on cold winter mornings, etc. because I was just biding my time until I could make my move. I am not going to make a crusade of this, I will have my say and then it will be up to the membership to do with it as they will. I have a lot to lose taking this stand, at 51 years of age I am not looking forward to job hunting. After 11 years the NA and WV have became my home, I met my wife here, we bought property here, we love this place and don't want to leave. But we will have to now. I resigned from the board of directors because of the problems I talk about above. I resigned because it has become obvious to me that with Erich Gliebe as Chairman of the NA nothing will ever really get resolved, he will continue to insist that everything is just fine, and he will continue to blame all problems on enemies instead of honestly assessing problems and taking action to correct them. He will continue to exclude capable competent people from positions of authority because he feels threatened by them. He will continue to squander the resources of the NA that were built up through hard work and sacrifice by the membership over a period of years. He will continue to fumble what should be simple straightforward decisions. He is incompetent and he is in way over his head. The NA needs a leader. Erich Gliebe is not that leader.

Erich Gliebe must resign as chairman of the NA.

Fred Streed is a man who had supported Erich in the beginning and whose decision to withdraw that support was the result of watching Erich's performance for twelve months. An approximately similar situation is the case for Dr. Bob DeMarais, who had quit two months before Fred did.

Not long after Fred posted the above criticism, Erich reacted by changing the locks on the doors, twice, and calling the state police when Fred, let into the office building by one of Erich's new-hires, attempted to retrieve his personal property from his former office. Evidently, Erich was trying to show that, yes, he could so make hard decisions. But this decision wasn't hard; it was merely selfish, reactionary, and mean. Erich Gliebe's behavior since then has been a classic example of a man defending his own power, no matter what the cost might be to the organization he was chosen to lead.

Other issues can be raised in connection with Erich's performance as Chairman.

Members and former members of the National Alliance have said they believed Erich to have stolen inventory belonging to Resistance Records, largely music CDs and White nationalist-styled clothing for sale, and to have sold them on the side, taking for himself sums of money that in fairness should have gone to the corporation.

I can testify from my own experience that Erich has no moral qualms about conning the National Alliance membership. During my production of a formatted electronic version of the National Alliance Membership Handbook, Erich told me that he intended to delete references to Christianity that Dr. Pierce put into the original version. Erich said that Dr. Pierce's summary about the incompatibility between mainstream Christianity and the philosophy of the National Alliance offended many Christians, and, for the sake of recruiting more Christians, he would remove that text from the new edition of the Membership Handbook.

I asked him: "Are we changing our ideology or tricking the Christians?"

His reply was: "Mostly the latter."

Along the same lines: "White Law" is a shoot-em-up type computer game sold by Resistance Records. It is sold as sort of a White nationalist version of "Doom" or "Rise of the Triad." The concept for "White Law" was good, and some work was done, but it is far from being ready for sale as a commercial product. Knowing this full well, Erich nonetheless decided to sell "White Law" as though it were finished. Resistance Records is none of my responsibility, but I did examine the game, discovered its shortcomings, and reported them to Erich in case he did not know of them already. There would be nothing immoral or illegal about selling "White Law" as an unfinished or as a flawed product, so long as any potential buyers were advised of its unfinished or flawed nature. But selling it as if it were a fully developed, playable game is cheating the customers.

The collapse of the National Alliance as a viable corporation seems unavoidable. Erich just doesn't have the talent to produce what the National Alliance and National Vanguard Books once did. Although, as I will explain later, it is still possible for the Board of Directors to take Erich to court to fight for control of the organization, such a fight would destroy the organization quickly, and the result would not be worth the costs of litigation.

Part 2. Erich fires all the staff and unlawfully tries to remove the other NA directors.

Erich goes a long way with brazen power grabs, even though some of them are probably illegal.

At about 6:30 Eastern Daylight Time on 13 August 2003, President of National Vanguard Books, Wayne Sims, was issued what was claimed to be a legal process by someone who said he was a private investigator. I didn't see any copyright notice on it, so I will post my best reproduction of the page here.

The most illegitimate parts of that notice are these:

1. The statement following the sixth "whereas" is false. Erich is not the "sole director of the National Alliance." He shares the Board with at least one other director, Katherine Molz. His attempt to efface his co-director on his own authority, without a meeting, and without due notice is contrary to applicable laws.

2. In the sixth "whereas" and in the preamble, Erich asserts that he is the "sole director of National Vanguard Books" and "the successor in interest to the directorship of William L. Pierce in National Vanguard Books." His claim is bogus. Dr. Pierce was the only director of NVB when he died, but his directorship in NVB wasn't derived from his being, also, the Chairman of the National Alliance. Dr. Pierce just happened to have both jobs. The NA Chairmanship is an executive office, subject to the pleasure of the NA Board of Directors, and no directorship in a daughter company comes through an executive office. If Erich "inherited" a directorship in NVB upon Dr. Pierce's death, then it came as the result of his being a director of the National Alliance, not because he was also the NA Chairman, and every other director of the National Alliance would similarly inherit a pro tempore directorship in National Vanguard Books.

3. Contrary to his opinion, Erich Gliebe was never given the authority to take at least some of the actions he took in his decree.

The National Alliance is incorporated in Virginia. The Virginia Non-Stock Corporation Act [Virginia Code 13-1.860] describes the legal procedure for removing a director.

According to the Virginia law quoted just above, Erich has no authority to kick Kitty off the NA Board by decree. And the two of them, Erich and Kitty, would be deadlocked on the matter of removing either director. (And, on top of that, Erich is bound by the due notice provision of subsection E of the Virginia law, which he disregarded.)

What can be done without a meeting? Let's look at the relevant Virginia law, namely,

Notice that all of the directors must agree to the action to be taken, not just one of them. Imagine the situation immediately before Erich hatched this plan. Erich and Kitty, both of them, are directors of the National Alliance. How does Erich remove Kitty, without Kitty's consent, and justify himself for removing Kitty on the grounds that he had removed Kitty? Some judge or other will probably get a chuckle out of that question.

Presuming upon the power that would accrue to him only after eliminating other directors of the corporation who might gainsay his decisions, in order to justify his dismissal of those directors, is the essential characteristic of the "actions" that Erich claims to have taken. To assert that this is a legitimate way to proceed with changes in corporate authority is, simply, to lie. This sneaky usurpation of authority is characteristic of nearly everything Erich has done with the National Alliance since he began to defy the Board of Directors, whose appointed agent he is legally supposed to be.

There have been more developments of this general sort since the firings. Erich has, again with duplicitious presumption of authority to which he has no legal right, replaced the non-cooperative other NA Board members with a cherry-picked crew of ones he believes to be more loyal to himself. To effect the replacement, he sent paperwork to the Virginia agency charged with the supervision of corporations and fraudulently represented his changes as having been legally done. For example, Kitti Molz is still, legally, entitled to call herself a director of the National Alliance because, in "removing" her, Erich used an unlawful procedure based on an authority he does not have. And, moreover, none of the new directors whose names are now on the books in Virginia got their positions in a legal manner. More on this later.

Part 3. The Board of Directors tries to regain control of the NA, freezing accounts and holding mail to protect the members, customers and corporate assets from exploitation or pilfering.

Erich Gliebe ripped off bands and stole from National Alliance members. Following are some facts, some known in certain Alliance circles, some not. If you are not "in the know" please reserve judgement until you finish reading this.

I am tired of the rumors and innuendos and feel the need to clarify some things. It does not matter who I am.

Erich Gliebe was named Chairman of the National Alliance by the Board Of Directors (hereafter B.O.D.) in addition to being named head of the Church of Cosmotheism by Dr. Pierce before his death. ...

Dr. Pierce left the B.O.D. in charge of deciding who would run the Alliance, NVB and Resistance after his death. The Chief Financial Officer of the B.O.D. would control the various bank accounts, as Gliebe was never trusted by Dr. Pierce to do. The B.O.D. (except for Erich Gliebe) will remain nameless here. One of the members holds a PhD. in business, one has physically known and worked side by side with Dr. Pierce for 17 years, one has been a member for over 20 years, and the other is Erich Gliebe. After Dr. Pierce's death last year, the B.O.D. saw fit to place Gliebe as Chairman of the N.A and Resistance LLC., while retaining control of the bank accounts of the N.A., National Vanguard Books (NVB) and Resistance LLC.

Every single member who Dr. Pierce personally assembled to work at staff headquarters,(HQ) and who was working there at the time of his death, has either quit in disgust or been fired by Erich Gliebe. Not a single HQ employee has been there for more than 30 days. Of the three B.O.D. besides Gliebe, one has resigned, one has attempted to resign, and one remains, and all three have accused Gliebe of theft, embezzlement and fraud and called for his immediate resignation. Gliebe has attempted to gain control of the bank accounts illegally, which has resulted in them being frozen by the bank.

Of the scandals Gliebe is currently embroiled in, one serves as a particularly egregious example. A recent CD that Resistance released was by the band Cut Throat, containing popular members of a few other California bands, including Final War, Aggresive Force, Extreme Hatred, etc ....Gliebe claimed he only pressed 1,000 CDs, for which he owed the band royalties. In fact, he pressed 1,000 which were shipped to West Virginia, and he also pressed 1,000 which were shipped to his home in Ohio. The latter 1,000 were sold to vendors in Europe for cash which was wired to Gliebe's personal bank account. (The vendors did not know that Mr. Gliebe was doing this illegally and had no knowledge of the scam. They thought that he was acting as an officer of Resistance.) The band ( Cut Throat) itself has accounted for over 700 CDs sold by Mr. Gliebe to European vendors, while at the same time 829 copies of the CD were physically in the warehouse in West Virginia. When confronted by this discrepancy by the B.O.D. Chief Financial Officer, Gliebe stammered and stuttered that the 700 in Europe "must be bootlegs." Unfortunately for Mr. Gliebe, the vendors in Europe have been involved in the "music scene" on honorable terms for over a decade, and verified the transaction. When Tony, at C&C Duplication, (where the Cut Throat CD was pressed) was contacted about this double pressing, he confirmed that 1,000 CDs were sent to 2 different locations and paid for by two different parties, but has since clammed up and says he will only release further information if contacted by legal authorities. He assuredly will be. (I got the feeling from him that this was done on a regular basis for several different CD titles, but it cannot be verified at this time.)

When Mr. Gliebe was tipped off (by Tony) that concerned parties were asking about the number of Cut Throat CDs pressed, Erich Gliebe attempted to cover his ass by contacting the band (Cut Throat) and claiming that he "needed to press another 1,000 CDs because they were almost completely out, and owed them more royalties." This while 829 copies still sat in the warehouse. Gliebe ripped off the band, point blank, and when caught, he attemped to cover his ass for the extra 1,000 that he had already pressed, then committed the National Alliance to pay royalties to the band for CD's which he pocketed the money for. These royalties cannot now be paid since the bank accounts have been "frozen" until the legal wrangling over control of the National Alliance, which could take years, is resolved.

Gliebe stands accused by the entire B.O.D., which named him Chairman one year ago, of theft, embezzlement and mail fraud. (Keep reading)

Embezzlement charges were levelled against Mr. Gliebe last year by Dr. Pierce's trusted accountant in Florida, so he was fired and branded a "traitor" who was "attempting a coup", and the whole affair was hushed up by Gliebe supporters. A new accountant has been hired by Mr. Gliebe, but he supposedly has a weak stomach for criminal activities, so expect him to leave soon. (He almost bolted last time the police were called by Gliebe when a former employee returned to the Main Building to retrieve personal belongings after being fired by Gliebe earlier that day. After 17 years of loyal service to Dr. Pierce, this man was reported to the State Police in Marlinton as a "trespasser"—you didn't hear about that?) In the past, anyone attempting to blow the whistle was labeled a "disgruntled employee" who was "Alliance bashing" and fired, thereby opening them up for the "disgruntled EX-employee" tag. (One disgruntled ex-employee spreading false rumours—OK, that's credible—but DOZENS?) New employees were then brought in who were thought to be more loyal to Gliebe, but eventually they also caught on to the theft and corruption and summarily terminated and slandered if they talked. Currently, not a single HQ staffer has been there for more than 30 days. With the bank accounts frozen and paychecks not being issued, it is doubtful that the National Alliance in it's current form will last more than two weeks. Gliebe knows he cannot remain in control of Resistance, LLC. and it is not known who can replace him. His "number two" man, Ryan Maziarka, is not a likely candidate, since he is a known snitch who sent to prison the husband of a Women for Aryan Unity member years ago. She will remain nameless here, but can confirm this publically if she wishes. The webmaster and marketing "expert' of Resistance LLC, Chris Evans, (who currently receives a salary of $2,400 per month) has been put forth as a possible successor, but it is thought that he would be rejected by the Skin Head community also, because of the fact that he testified against leaders of the HammerSkins in Dallas, Texas, years ago. Those "in the know" are aware of this, and those who were sent to prison because of his testimony can verify this information if they so choose.

It has recently been revealed by the former book editor of the National Alliance that Dr. Pierce requested that he rent P.O. Box 330 in Hillsboro, West Virginia, years ago, for the purposes of receiving book orders and donations. After the editor recently "blew the whistle" on Gliebe's illegal activities, he was also fired. He was a long-time confidant and employee of Dr. Pierce and can confirm his identity if he so chooses, he will not be named here. Gliebe duped a Postal employee into giving him access to P.O. Box 330 in order to get the money sent there in the form of book orders and donations. Erich Gliebe will face Federal Mail Fraud charges if the box owner in question so chooses. (He hasn't decided yet.)

Gliebe has responded by having his minions and lackeys spread bullshit galore about his accusers, even going so far as threatening to expose the secretary of the B.O.D. to her employers as a "racist" if she continues to demand that he (Gliebe) resign. She is also well known in certain circles and can "go public" if she chooses.

The above allegations are pure truth, although the vast majority of honest National Alliance members have never heard them.Whether they are believed or not does not matter. The Skin Head community, I am told, appears to be well versed on how to deal with those who steal from them. . Why they have chosen to tolerate this chicanery speaks to either their affability or their gullibility. Perhaps they are prepared to tolerate the thievery and insults from those better able to spread their message to the masses than they are. Mr. Gliebe has been "caught" (even on Alliance-produced videotape) referring to Skin Heads as "drunken rejects", etc. and has managed to deflect the charges ably enough to continue selling shiny trinkets to them. Some of the less sophisticated among them have even defended his staements/actions. Most, though, long ago grew fed up with his bullshit, but have not decided to make an issue out of it, yet.

Erich Gliebe and his supporters have attempted to hush all of this up. Whether you, the reader, believe these allegations is of absolutely no importance. They are the facts. Loyal, stand-up members of the National Alliance are being lied to. Did you know that when Chester Doles drove from Georgia to West Virginia to attend Dr. Pierce's funeral (wake, really) he was turned away at the gates because "he wasn't invited" by Mr. Gliebe? Ask his wife, she will tell you the truth, since he is currently in jail on trumped-up charges due to (yet another) snitch who easily infiltrated the "elite" Alliance. .. Did you know that after Eric Hanson was assassinated by a S.W.A.T. team Mr. Gliebe attempted to persuade the current deputy membership coordinator to deny that he (Hanson) was a member to avoid the "embarrasment" of being associated with a "criminal", that is, until it was discovered that Hanson was widely regarded as a martyr, and then thousands of dollars' worth of literature was sold to Alliance members to distribute on "Hanson Memorial Day," in order to recruit more members. Did you know that Mr. Gliebe forced a married couple whom Dr. Pierce had employed one year before he died, to leave their jobs (and Alliance property home) while she was over 9 months pregnant and past her due date? Mr. Gliebe was angry that they had "revealed some things"as well as "making fun of him" and forced them to pack up and leave immediately (Not even allowed to retrieve family photos from their office.) . She was so stressed out that she went into labor after packing up her house all night, and lost her baby. It had been a healthy 9 pound girl the day before when they got a sonogram done. When asked if they could at least bury their dead baby daughter on Alliance property (they worshipped Dr. Pierce) Mr. Gliebe, two days after being named Chairman, said "nope." They were forced to bury their baby in a pauper's lot (it was free because they dug the grave themselves) , far from their family home and with no resources for a proper burial. When certain membership found out and threatened a revolt, Mr. Gliebe hastily had a check for $1,000 drawn for burial expenses in order to make himself look like a "good guy", but it was too little, too late.. This couple has not wished to get attention or publicity over this ordeal and still live in the area and continue to offer to volunteer for Alliance activities. Did you loyal, dues-paying members know that this happened only days after Dr. Pierce's death? David Pringle didn't mention that on his little radio talk show did he? I cannot imagine a more vile, low thing to do. Mr. Gliebe is responsible for the death of that little White baby girl. To him the 14 words are a punchline.

National Alliance "leadership" has a bad habit of taking the credit for what it's loyal and dedicated members do on their own initiative. The examples could go on and on. Suffice it to say that if you know a good, strong Alliance member who actually contributes to his racial community instead of denigrating it as "hobbyist", he is doing it on his/her own with out the approval of the current Alliance "leaders" who forbid cooperating with other community groups, and refer to anyone outside the Alliance as "hobbyists".

It matters not whether you like what I have said, here are some predictions that will come true: The legal fight over the bank accounts of the National Alliance will drag on for years, and will get ugly. But while the petty accusations will fly back and forth, ask yourself something: Can the Board of Directors REALLY be accused of trying to "tear down the Alliance"? If they realize how deep the rot and corruption and criminality really is, and they quit in disgust, can they really be accused of trying to "take over the Alliance"? They are giving up on the very thing they have dedicated their lives to for the last two decades. Dr. Pierce's close, personal friends and comrades are being accused of being "traitors" by the likes of Mr.Gliebe, Kevin Strom, Shaun Walker, "Big Dave" Pringle, Ryan Maziarka and Chris Evans, the Johnny-come-lately power seekers.

You loyal Alliance unit coordinators, take heed: You will soon be in a position to realize the truth of what is being said here (and what you are not being told by your officials). The Alliance as a national entity is done. Resistance Records is done. National Vanguard Books is done. All those who edited books, packed orders, etc, have been run off by Mr. Gliebe and branded "traitors" because they attempted to blow the whistle on what he was doing. There are many Alliance members who are true and solid and you must be in a position to assume leadership on a local level in the very near future. Whether you like what is coming upon you or not does not matter. The truth is that Mr. Gliebe is broke, the bank accounts are frozen, and you will soon cease receiving anything from the HQ that resembles coherent instructions because the HQ will cease to exist as anything more than some acreage in the mountains and some books and CDs that will soon be looted for some fast cash by your "leaders." (Actually, it's already happening.) If you have a strong local unit, you will find yourself in the position of assuming the position of local chairman of your local, cellular, Alliance. That is fact. If you will not do it, get ready to make room for those who will. Step up or step aside. This is not being planned or orchestrated, but it is the bare political reality of the current situation. Strong units have their own websites, PO. Boxes, unit meetings, etc., the only difference will be where the member's dues are sent. You will cease receiving coherent instructions from any "HQ" shortly, although you will have to deal with increasingly erratic and conflicting e-mails from different people who still will claim to be "National Director"...This is a prediction you can count on.Also count on increasingly hysterical accusations of more "traitors," most of whom are Pierce loyalists who are growing tired of Mr. Gliebe and his pretenders. Shaun Walker is enjoying an extended vacation in Europe on the Alliance's dollar, he will reportedly come back to try to seize control, as will Pringle. Watch.

Expect the Skin Heads to reclaim control of their own music, as they know best how to influence their peers. Local units will probably start their own book and literature distribution capabilities. Again, this is not being pushed, merely predicted.

Dr. Pierce's legacy will not be one Alliance, but many alliances, choosing their own leaders, making their own decisions on a local level, being accepted or not by the rest of the "movement" based on their own individual merits. There will probably be a period of transition where the racial community at large will not accept "The Alliance" until things get sorted out. Many people will be angry over losing money by ordering books and CDs that cannot be properly sent since Mr. Gliebe has fired the one woman who has the password to the entire data base and mailing list. She was one of Dr. Pierce's trusted employees for 20 years, yet Mr. Gliebe has threatened to have her arrested for trespassing if she sets foot on Alliance property—because she was also threatening to expose Gliebe.(you didn't hear about that?) Two loyal employees are attempting to process some orders by hand, but they have worked there less that 30 days and cannot be expected to continue without a paycheck, since the bank accounts are, and will remain, frozen. It will be up to each unit coordinator to establish his or her own local unit as a distinct entity and group, allied with whomever they see fit, in order to earn back the good name of the Alliance.

Make it happen or watch it happen, one or the other. Choose wisely in the next few weeks.

If you doubt the veracity of any of this, sit back and watch. The mainstream media is crawling all over Hillsboro, WV, looking for Mr. Gliebe, but he is hiding out at Shaun Walker's house. . The "HQ" is receiving over 50 phone calls a day requesting interviews with Erich Gliebe. This will be on CNN and NPR soon, I imagine. Erich Gliebe has stolen from Resistance bands and looted the Alliance treasury, robbing the loyal members that Dr. Pierce spent his life building up, and the media can't wait to run with this. They may gloat over the impending downfall of the Alliance, but it is up to the true members and loyal unit coordinators to keep Dr. Pierce's legacy alive, all over the world. Any members who wish to question Mr. Gliebe about his actions can call him on his cell phone, (440) 230-0685. Good luck getting him to answer ...

I am not the author of the above editorial. There are some who believe that Byron Calvert wrote it, but I wouldn't really know. Some of the editorial's predictions are wrong. Erich got some legal help and persuaded the bank manager to unfreeze the accounts and persuaded the regional postal manager to override the vacation holds that had been placed on the mail. Whereas Erich still can't operate the business of the National Alliance competently simply because he has no experienced staff, he no is no longer impeded by the measures by which the NA Board of Directors tried to regain control of the NA.

I have no personal knowledge of what extent Erich has unlawfully denied bands he was representing their proper royalties, or otherwise misused National Alliance property. However, I do know that Erich has not been paying author's royalties on at least one of the books that National Vanguard Books has been selling for two years: Blood Ritual, by Philip de Vier. Mr. de Vier notified me by email about the failure of Erich's National Vanguard Books to live up to its contractual agreement. Because I no longer work there, there wasn't much that I could do to help him, except to point out that, since the contract is broken, he's probably free to sell his book through an alternative vendor.

I know, also, about the "married couple" who lost the baby, for example. I was unaware that the baby's death was related to the concurrent politics, and, in fact, it might not have been. The editorial's author is guessing, but there is a chance he is correct. The baby died around the time when Dr. Pierce also died, and there were tensions, at the time, in regard to whom the next NA chairman should be.

The editorial's claims in regard to Erich defrauding a band of monies due them isn't proof that he is guilty. But it does suggest that he knows more than he is telling. There would be a problem convincing the witnesses to testify. Remember, the "Cut Throat" CDs were sold in Europe, where music such as theirs is often illegal to buy or sell, or even listen to, because the Jews have had their way with the laws in those countries to a greater extent, even, than is the case here. Fearing legal penalties should their taste in music be revealed to the authorities, the CD vendors would be reluctant to give affidavit or testimony.

I had not known that Erich turned Chester Doles away from the wake for Dr. Pierce. I had not known that Erich refused to allow the married couple to bury their dead baby on the NA grounds.

I'm the "book editor" that the writer mentioned. I wrote (on my website) that Erich had persuaded a postal clerk to give him access to the mail in P.O. Box 330, which mail box did I sign for at Dr. Pierce's request several years ago. I believed, for a while, that P.O. Box 330 was a personal mailbox of mine. I learned later that it is a business address for National Vanguard Books, though the box is rented in my name. Erich's crimes occurred on a higher level, with a broader scope, than the editorial alleges. He didn't steal my mail; he stole the whole National Alliance and has so far gotten away with the theft.

The editorial's account of the composition and activities of the NA Board of Directors is generally true. Let me add that in July 2003, nobody would have predicted the sudden spray of staff terminations by the Chairman in August that resulted in the collapse of NA-HQ.

Erich's policies of overspending are what led Dr. Bob DeMarais privately and Fred Streed publicly to criticize Erich. Fred's criticism triggered Erich's firing of Fred, and though Erich's minions later tried to portray Fred's letter as "an attack on the National Alliance," it was merely a public criticism of Erich's financial policies aimed at precluding Erich from making plausible denials, after disaster struck, that he'd ever been warned of impending trouble. By criticizing Erich, Fred was doing his job for the National Alliance, and if Erich found Fred's duty to be personally embarrassing, then Erich has only himself to blame. He could have modified his financial program back when Dr. Bob was whispering warnings quietly into his ear.

I say, this might be why Erich fired Fred. But it might also be that Erich discovered that Fred knew something about certain illicit Cut-Throat CDs and wanted to stigmatize Fred as a "traitor" and/or as a "disgruntled employee." Fred mentioned those CD's in a conversation with Erich, and allegely Erich's face suddenly assumed the expression that you might expect of someone having an abrupt episode of diarrhea.

Fred's wife Marta was barred from her office and, a week later, was "officially" notified that she was fired, too. Sometime during that week, Erich called the state police on Fred when he tried to recover his personal property from his former office. This, after one of Erich's hirelings had let him into the office building.

I watched these things happen and learned to distrust Erich Gliebe. He used his new-hires to transmit to me verbal assurances that my own position was in no danger. They miscalculated. I never cared for a position, per se. I was only there as a volunteer worker, helping to proofread documents and publish books for National Vanguard. But I wasn't willing to work for a man who fired talented and productive staff members, on bogus pretexts, who were my friends. So right about when Marta was fired, I pulled my computer out of my office—it was my personal property—and took it to my house. I left all property belonging to the National Alliance where it was.

But one point made by the editorial's writer is an especially good point, which deserves special attention.

While the petty accusations will fly back and forth, ask yourself something: Can the Board of Directors REALLY be accused of trying to "tear down the Alliance"? If they realize how deep the rot and corruption and criminality really is, and they quit in disgust, can they really be accused of trying to "take over the Alliance"? They are giving up on the very thing they have dedicated their lives to for the last two decades.

I was never on the NA Board, and my own investment in the National Alliance is only five years, but, for some of us it's as much as two decades. The directors and former directors of the National Alliance Board of Directors are kicking themselves now for choosing Erich as NA Chairman. The two who resigned are sorry that they did. At first, they believed Erich to be a fiscally clumsy executive, but an otherwise honorable man who only needed an example to follow. Unfortunately, the former directors were too generous in their estimate of Erich's character, and their resignations have left the NA Board with one director too few to remove Erich as the NA Chairman by vote. Kitti, Fred, and Dr. Bob have a respect for honesty and for due process that is conspicuously absent among Erich's people, and it is precisely this which has let Erich seize the initiative and run away with the organization.

While I don't wish to see the National Alliance come to harm, whether through loss of membership or through loss of business, my primary loyalty has never been diverted from the White race to any of its advocacy organizations, including the NA, nor to any spokesman thereof, not even Dr. Pierce. Much less Erich Gliebe. Since I am unwilling that the National Alliance continue being led by someone considered incompetent, and possibly amoral, by the people best positioned to judge, I will do what I can to effect a change of leadership, or, failing that, to encourage the membership of the National Alliance to join an organization not under the control of Erich Gliebe.

Part 4. Allegations of wrongdoing. The need of reorganization.

NA leaders who believe themselves ready to support Erich unconditionally would be well-advised to reconsider. Erich's sins, whatever they are, will catch up with him, sooner or later. Even if Erich doesn't land in legal jeopardy right away, ZOG might learn enough about his shady dealings to keep him forever under their thumb, and the National Alliance compromised thereby. In fact, they may have such information already. What we see happening to the NA might be the result of Erich being obedient to a pull on his leash.

If my guess is correct, the National Alliance (while it lasts) under Erich Gliebe will shift its orientation away from a post-collapse instigator of White revolution and toward a dog-and-pony circus aimed at scratching the itch that White people sometimes feel for European culture when the stink of multiculturalism becomes too offensive. Letting a few Whites have such a "breath of fresh air" does not threaten the Jews agenda much, and it lets ZOG identify which Whites are most in need of such a break—that is, which Whites are least able to conform to a multicultural world.

Besides Erich's own sins, there's rumored waywardness among some of his followers. In an earlier version of this page, I mentioned a few examples of their behavior that might provoke a raid if the FBI were to find out about it. I also described Erich as a big dummy for putting up with that kind of behavior. I deleted the information at the request of one of the few people on Erich's side that I still have any good feelings for. Suffice it to say that Dr. Pierce would be kicking the butts of some of Erich's gang really hard if he were still around.

If Dr. Pierce could be resurrected for 30 minutes and told of events leading up to the present crisis, he'd probably express (with colorful scatology) his disappointment that Dr. Bob DeMarais and Fred Streed had chosen to resign from the NA Board, rather than stand up to Erich and remove him from the Chairman's office. And then he would probably say:

"The White race was my purpose. The National Alliance was my instrument. If another instrument would have served my purpose better, I'd have used it instead. If the organization that I made has become corrupted, then it is time to create some new tools."

That's not a real quote, of course. It's authored and attributed by me, based on four years of editing his writing. Judge for yourself whether it would sound in character if you heard the words in Dr. Pierce's voice.

Dr. Pierce was well aware that a certain number of his followers weren't so much White nationalists as his personal admirers. Dr. Pierce, though, never depended on being popular. He didn't care whether you liked him or not, as long as you were someone who could be made to take responsibility for the future well-being of your race.

With Erich Gliebe, though, the eclipse of White nationalism by "NA Chairmanism" is much greater. Erich travels much; Dr. Pierce traveled little. Erich has established a network of personal loyalties that Dr. Pierce never felt he needed. Erich is an able recruiter, but the function of the Chairman is not recruiting. The Chairman is supposed to be the keeper and expositor of the National Alliance's ideological purity. With Erich in the Chairman's office, that job must be done by somebody else, such as Kevin Strom.

Popularity is not a substitute for devotion. Business acumen is not a substitute for honesty. Those who will follow Erich Gliebe in coming days will be making those mistakes.

If it were not for this name-brand allegience to a popular chief, which arises from the very same sort of authoritarianism that in the larger political arena produces Jew-shy conservatives, it would be easy for most NA members to see the imperative need either for Erich's immediate resignation or for a rapid reorganization of the membership. The more quickly that reorganization is accomplished, the larger will be the new White nationalist group that can emerge from it. But authoritarianism is a fact, and the reorganization probably won't take place fast enough for anything like a national-level policy center to exist. So the prediction of the editorial writer (see part 3), that the NA will splinter down to the Local Unit level, with no governing cell that they all recognize, may come true.

But while all of you are still turning an ear this way, I want to ask you to continue working for White nationalism according to the plan of Dr. Pierce. As long as the several groups can maintain the ideology severally, without veering into superficiality, egoism or whackiness, there's no reason that the fission can't be turned to advantage. Dr. Pierce has left us his writing, with which we can become more familiar and which can be used to keep the "denominations" more or less in agreement on ideological basics. Examples of whackiness to avoid: strange ritualistic behavior at unit meetings, speaking in made-up languages that nobody can understand, claiming to have met the Ghost of Dr. Pierce the previous night. We do have a "Bible" of sorts, but we don't need the weird stuff.

A centralized organization is easy for enemies to infiltrate, and, make no mistake, the NA has been infiltrated much. The informers never learned anything important, other than personal information that might have cost a few their jobs or exposed a few to false criminal charges or other pseudolegal harrassment (Chester Doles, Byron Calvert, Artie Wheeler, Christine Greenwood), but they were indeed present and seeking something that they could take the whole organization down for. After decentralizing, it will be much harder for the government, or for the Jews, to keep tabs on us all. Further, the "important racists" on whom they have the most information, won't be so important anymore, and the data they now have will lose much of its value.

Above all, don't go berserk and try to take over the government with force. Not only are some of the police and soldiers on our side, or at least in sympathy with us, we would lose that kind of contest. The restraint required by Dr. Pierce will be required for a long while yet. We are not trying to compete with the U.S. government militarily. Instead, we are waiting for that government to fail, as the Soviet Union's government failed. And, when that happens, we will step forward and organize the White people who will have been left otherwise helpless before the dark hordes, arming them, training them, and teaching them to survive and to fight. But no shooting until then, except in self-defense.

There is only one supreme loyalty for us: the race. Once, the NA was its fairest champion, and it was proper to tender it a derivative loyalty. Now materialism and egoism have crept in and, for all the high-sounding talk (parrotted from Dr. Pierce's "Our Cause" speech), the motives of the organization's leaders have not been kept pure. Remember that, and don't let the money-motivated hangers-on fool you. Our race is our Deity; the National Alliance was its priest. A priest can be replaced.

These latter days of the National Alliance should remind us of why Whites got put on the defensive in the first place. Real supermen are rare, and when one shows up, his very presence makes most of us ordinary people want to follow him. But much more common are men with hidden personal motives, or with pretensions to a greatness that they do not really have, and when power is entrusted to one of them, things can go downhill in a hurry. Whom should we follow? I don't know. But keep looking, being wary of ambitious pretenders, and find that true leader. He'll be the guy who says what he must, but works much, and lets the worth of the result do most of his talking for him.

Part 5. To Erich Gliebe's supporters.

Let me say right up front that I don't know whether Erich is a thief or not. Some people seem to think that he's been stealing from Resistance Records and from WP bands for a long time. And some believe that he's lately taken to stealing and embezzeling from the National Alliance, too. But I don't have any personal knowledge of any such heists, other than that he stole the National Alliance itself from its Board of Directors, and, other than that, I'm not saying anything definite until I do know something.

What I mostly want to focus on is the motives of Erich's supporters within the NA. In part, the people writing me emails insistently demanding that I "do what Erich commands" or "support the Chairman" are motivated by a desire to stay on the good side of the head babboon. And, partly, these writers simply feel that blind obedience to the Top Man is the right and proper thing. It's the authoritarianism reflex that most people in the larger society exhibit with respect to the U.S. government, taxes and laws and extralegal repression be what they may.

But some of Erich's supporters aren't so much authoritarians as they are personal admirers of Erich because he's such a tall, handsome fellow. It's mostly the female component of the NA membership that feels that way. Mostly. They want the man in charge to be an attractive man, or at least a fairly rugged-looking man, which Erich is.

Erich also has considerable influence with his fellow men. He has traveled about much more extensively than Dr. Pierce did and has used his personal charm to enlist key NA members into his fan club, including many Local Unit Coordinators. The LUCs, in turn, influence those in their unit. Erich's leadership comes, thus, not through the inspiration of racial ideology, as Dr. Pierce's did, but though Erich's personal charisma.

Let me make that point clearer. Although Dr. Pierce had his own admirers, he did not rely upon having them, and his purpose was never to gain them. He didn't regularly go among the membership to shake hands and politic himself up. Instead, he put his ideas on paper and on the radio, and his following grew out of their perception that he was right and that he deserved their support because he was right.

Erich Gliebe is nothing of the sort. If you follow Erich, you do so for reasons unrelated to your professed racial aims. You might want favor (of one sort or another). You might be afflicted with authoritarianism. But, either way, your decision to support Erich isn't grounded in the NA's traditional ideology. In other words, if Erich wins, the NA will become degenerate. I don't mean "perverted." (It might, but that's not what I'm referring to.) I mean that Erich lacks in ideological strength in proportion to his popularity.

Erich has recruited many, but he hasn't recruited even one with an articulate exposition of "Our Cause."

In order to keep the National Alliance on track as a vehicle for educating and inspiring White people with its racial message, it is necessary to replace Erich with a leader who can do those things. Last year, when the NA Board of Directors was deciding on a new Chairman, their emphasis was on keeping the NA united. That emphasis came from the fact that there was a faction, back then, trying to make Billy Roper the NA Chairman through popularity with the membership. It's ironic how things have come full circle.

The NA Board now realizes that they made a mistake. It would have been less grievous for the NA to have split, with one group following Billy and another following somebody else, than to make a Chairman out of somebody whose appeal was popular. It would have been less grievous because, while the group having popular leadership would, sooner or later, become irrelevant, the other, having ideological leadership, would continue the mission begun by Dr. Pierce. And eventually, some of those in the other camp might wake up from their hypnosis and switch sides, just as they did once before when they left the American democratic herd and joined the National Alliance in its earlier days.

But that's not how it happened. Now we stand to lose the whole NA as a meaningful vehicle for spreading the awareness of a higher destiny for our race. Erich is capable enough to arrange for European culture festivals, where NA members and other White people can go and have a good time. But he isn't capable of taking over Dr. Pierce's role as promulgator and explainer of the Nietzschean reasons for our existence and purpose.

About the most Erich can do is plagiarize old speeches by Dr. Pierce and, maybe, change the words a little. He must rely on others even to apply the ideology to the changing political situation, and there are few who can do that for him. There are even fewer who have the vision necessary to anticipate the course of future history and to extend the ideological principles into its possibilities.

Now, all that I've said to this point assumes that Erich hasn't committed any crimes that somebody might feel angry enough about to have him sent to prison. It's starting to look as if Erich's past is somewhat checkered, and that means he may be vulnerable to legal action brought by those whom he may have wronged. Where will the NA be, if its Chairman is hauled off to the penitentiary? Even if that doesn't happen, the Jews might gain enough damaging information to keep Erich, and thus the National Alliance, forever under their thumb. Is that what we want?

For these reasons, I call upon the NA Local Unit Coordinators who presently are backing Erich to oppose him instead. Further, I call on the rank-and-file membership to realize the importance of what I've said on this page and likewise oppose Erich's Chairmanship. While it does set a bad precedent to remove a Chairman, it sets a worse example to tolerate incompetence or corruption in a Chairman. If we can't remove a bad Chairman, then we have no moral position to criticize the U.S. Government for not removing, for example, Bill Clinton.

You will hear it said that Erich is opposed by a "democratic clique." Yes, a clique of less than half a dozen people who are positioned to judge Erich's performance as Chairman during the past 13 months. But Erich's support is not only democratic, it's popular mass-democratic support that has nothing to do with any rational attempt to access Erich's motives or competence over the past year.

You will hear it said that this "clique" opposes Erich because Erich fired them. That's not true. Erich fired them because he received opposition and criticism from them. The opposition came first, the firings were the result, and therefore the "disgruntled employee" label is a misleading canard intended to cast doubt on motives that were, and are, pure.

Part 6. Comments on a letter written by Erich Gliebe.

Erich Gliebe, let us all remember, is a recruiter. Persuading people is something he does well. He isn't always truthful in his efforts to sway, as I have illustrated with the following anecdote.

Earlier this year, Erich asked me to prepare an e-text version of the National Alliance Membership Handbook. He told me that he wanted to delete what Dr. Pierce had written concerning Christianity (see pages 46-51 of the original Handbook) because it was an impediment to recruiting Christians into the organization. Knowing that the deletion constituted a compromise in our avowed ideology, I asked Erich:

"Are we changing our ideology or tricking the Christians?" [My exact question.]

"Mostly the latter." [Erich's exact reply.]

That is how Erich's mind works. He means to persuade, but he doesn't always stick to the truth while he's persuading.

Erich recently sent a letter to several people who don't trust him, hoping to persuade them to come over to his side. That letter contains a number of doubtful assertions and exaggerated claims.

Erich said that the story about his embezzlement of money from the sale of illict music CDs is "obviously" false.

Obviously?

That story named names and places and went into considerable detail with regard to the numbers of CDs that were known to exist at a specific time. Someone composing a lie would not want to be so free with his embellishments, since that is how lies are usually detected. On the contrary, there's no known falsehood in that story, which doesn't mean that it is true, but it does mean that it might be. In other words, the embezzlement story isn't "obviously" false.

Erich claimed, in his letter, to have been Dr. Pierce's most trusted confidant. Nope. Fred Streed was. Erich was more of a business associate.

Erich claimed that he rescued Resistance Records from Dr. Pierce's mismanagement and that Dr. Pierce and Todd Blodgett had "pissed away $100,000" before Erich stepped in to save the company.

The truth? Resistance Records was raided by U.S. and Canadian police in April 1997 at the behest of the Jewish Anti-Defamation League, which wanted to shut down the pro-White music company. Deprived of its stock, it appeared that Resistance Records would soon be bankrupt, which is what the Jews planned.

Dr. Pierce bought the company to save it. He sank a good bit of money into the company to help it recover. He used his media to promote Resistance Records, and, about the time Dr. Pierce died, the company had gotten over the hump and was starting to turn a small profit.¹

Now, along comes Erich Gliebe, trying to take all the credit for himself: "...turned a 'lemon' music company into the world's biggest pro-White music label."

Next in his letter, Erich brags about having a "proven track record of success." First on the list? Achieved scholastic awards in mathematics. Erich the mathematician? Folks, Erich doesn't know a latus rectum from a hole in the ground. An award? Which one? As a mathematician, whom does Erich compare to? Hilbert? Gauss? Me? (I haven't won any awards worth mentioning.)

Erich claims to be the NA's top recruiter, pulling perhaps as many people into the Alliance as American Dissident Voices has. Does anybody really believe this? Erich has recruited many people with his charisma, but ADV has recruited many times as many with ideology. And a member recruited on conviction of ideological rightness is, other things being equal, a more valuable and stable member than one recruited by Erich's cajolery.

Erich isn't even head-and-shoulders above all other personal recruiters. Will Williams, for example, though he quit the NA himself, has continued to recruit for it and has a total that compares with Erich's. (Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind having "White Will" as Chairman.)

Erich claimed that he is "considered by many to be the NA's most gifted public speaker." Wrong again. Kevin Strom is, at present, the NA's most gifted public speaker. Kevin managed to acquire a fraction of Dr. Pierce's ability to articulate the Nietzschean principles that form the foundation of the NA ideology. If Erich even understands those principles, he hasn't shown any conspicuous knack for expressing them.

Those who received a copy of this letter should consider the extent to which Erich is taking credit that he does not deserve. It is understood that Erich is still somewhat more circumspect in this regard than, say, "Dr. Martin Luther" King, Jr., was. But if Erich becomes more audacious, he may be claiming that he was Dr. Pierce's ghost writer for all those articles in Free Speech.

By the way, Erich. When is the next Free Speech coming out?

Part 7. Comments on a letter written by Shaun Walker.

Shaun Walker, a follower of the usurper Erich Gliebe, produced a letter airing some false statements. It was posted on Stormfront in a privileged manner in which no "backtalk" was permitted. It was copied to Overthrow.com.

I'd had a higher opinion of Shaun Walker than I'd had of some of Erich's other supporters. But I may have to revise my estimate of him. He has posted a letter to Stormfront that is thick with false statements. Apparently, he does know that he has published lies. In conversation with Fred Streed, in the afternoon of 26 August, he justified those lies as "damage control" (his words).

The first lie is this one:

"The [NA] bylaws state [that] the Chairman runs everything and can hire and fire and operate solely on his own. The [NA] board has no power, never has, never will."

Not true. I have a copy of the National Alliance by-laws in front of me.

Part B. Paragraph 4. The board of directors may, by a vote of a majority of current directors, appoint a Chairman to serve as Chief Executive Officer of the corporation. The Chairman shall, subject to the control of the board of directors, have general supervision, direction, and control of the business and officers of the corporation, and may be vested with other powers and duties as may be appointed to him by the board of directors. The Chairman serves at the pleasure of the board of directors and shall be subject to the provisions of paragraph B-6 of these bylaws.

Part B. Paragraph 6. Subject to the rights, if any, of an officer under any contract of employment, any officer may be removed, either with or without cause, by a vote of the majority of directors at that time in office, at any regular or special meeting of the board, or, excepting the case of an officer chosen by the board of directors, by any officer upon whom such power of removal may be conferred by the board of directors.

Even without the above provisions in the by-laws, the NA Board of Directors has always had it in its power to take over the National Alliance under the authority of the state laws in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Dr. Pierce held much power while he was alive, but he held it by the consent of the other directors. Nobody in his right mind would have tried to wrest authority from the man who had made the NA possible to begin with. The popular myth grew up that the NA Board held only the authority to choose a new Chairman when the old one died. I believed that myth myself for a while. But it isn't so, and it never was.

In any conflict between by-laws and state law, state law prevails, or, to put it another way, by-laws have license only where state laws make no preemptive provision. When a Corporation is created, it is bound by the laws of the state where it was incorporated. In the Commonwealth of Virginia, corporations must obey rules in regard to the authority of its directors. Those rules are spelled out in Title 13 of that state's laws, in a section called the Virginia Non-Stock Corporation Act.

Erich Gliebe issued a declaration (see part 2) in which he attempted to efface his fellow NA director, Katherine Molz, as a director of the NA. This act was contrary to a Virginia law [13.1-860] that spells out the requirements for removing a director. The law specifies that such removal can occur only at a meeting, with advance notice of the purpose being given, by a vote of all those so empowered. Erich took his action to remove Kitti without a meeting, without notice, and purely on his own authority, all of which is contrary to the law.

If there had been anything in the NA by-laws in conflict with the state law, the state law would be decisive. As it happens, Shaun's claim is not only moot, but false, and it is of interest mainly because it serves as a gauge of the dishonesty of Erich's cohorts.

Erich's attempt to remove Kitti from the NA Board by the unlawful expedient of declaring himself the "sole director of the National Alliance" is just an example. The Chairman of the National Alliance has the authority that the directors of the National Alliance choose to vest in him, and not more. Dr. Pierce's essentially unrestricted authority was a measure of the respect and confidence that his directors had in him. Erich Gliebe, on the other hand, has neither the respect nor the confidence of the Board that made him Chairman a year ago. He remains there only because legal action has not yet been taken to remove him.

The next false statement in Shaun's letter is his claim that Dr. Pierce, right before his death, called in the entire staff and handed all the property of the NA over to Erich Gliebe as the sole trustee. The truth? Dr. Pierce did no such thing. Erich was appointed the trustee for only the Cosmotheist Community Church. He was not made the trustee for the whole National Alliance.

Shaun follows up with a misleading statement:

"Then Dr. P did something he never had done before. He gave the Board (3 people) the authority to pick a new leader for the NA."

Well, Dr. Pierce had never died before, either. The three NA directors, at the time, besides Dr. Pierce, were: Kitti Molz, Fred Streed, and Erich Gliebe (in descending order of seniority). Dr. Pierce made the request that the NA Board choose a new leader for the NA. The authority for the Board to do so comes from state laws, is confirmed in the NA by-laws, and the Board could have chosen a new leader at any time. Knowing that Dr. Pierce was the source of the National Alliance's inspiration and unity, the directors were all behind him.

"...Now the other 2 board members, feeling some sort of power for the first time, decided that they were in charge of something. Erich wanted to work with both members and allowed them to have a couple meetings. At these meetings, there was never anything solved, but Erich allowed them to meet."

Shaun probably means three other board members. Bob DeMarais was made a director shortly after Erich was made Chairman. Shaun's attempt to show Erich as empowered to prevent a meeting of the Board of Directors is amusing. Erich has no legal authority to prevent, cancel, stall or otherwise impede meetings of the NA Board of Directors. Shaun's implied estimate of Erich's graciousness in that respect is much overblown.

"Then, after Fred and Kitti had been in contact with Bill White and greatly influenced by Bill White, they attempted what was in essence a palace coup. They actually rewrote a new set of bylaws, 'called a meeting' and in an ugly meeting tried to force Erich to sign the new bylaws."

Bill White had nothing to do with the new by-laws, and his name is probably given only for smear value. The by-laws were motioned, seconded, voted on and carried. Erich's signature was not, and is not, required. If the Board's purpose had been to remove Erich as Chairman and replace him with somebody else, they could have done so by the same parliamentary procedure.

"The new bylaws would put Fred in charge of the NA. Erich refused, so Fred resigned. Fred then did what he said he would never do[:] he publicly attacked the NA on an internet post."

The new by-laws do not put Fred in charge of the NA, and they were never intended to do so. They are, however, the legal by-laws of the National Alliance. Erich didn't sign them, but his approval is not required. On the Board, he was (at the time) one director of three directors, and Erich was outvoted.

Fred's internet post (quoted above) was not an attack on the NA. It was a criticism of Erich Gliebe's performance as Chairman, especially in regard to corporate financial policy. That criticism was valid, and Fred's going public was necessary because Erich had already shown his unwillingness to change his spending policies to accord with good business practice. The public nature of Fred's criticism was meant to deprive Erich of the ability to make "plausible denials" that he'd ever been warned.

"...Somehow, [Kitti] and Fred were hoodwinked by Bill White into trying to overthrow the NA and turning it over to, get this, Alex Linder, the VNN webmaster."

False. Bill White had no such influence on Fred or Kitti, and there never was a plot to give the NA to Alex Linder. Alex Linder would probably like to take over Kevin Strom's job, but that's his aim, not that of Fred and Kitti.

"As things stand, some think Kitti has control of the NA assets. Not true. Kitti never has. Fred for about 2.5 months did keep the books. This was a temporary solution that Shaun Walker was to take over, but was in the moving process. Fred liked writing the checks though and didn't want to give this up, which was fine."

If ever there was a plan to make Shaun Walker the NA's Finance Officer, it was a secret to everybody except Shaun Walker (and, maybe, Erich Gliebe). The insinuation that Fred enjoyed any "power of the purse" is a lie. Fred wanted to return to his outdoor jobs and did not enjoy the paperwork of bookkeeping.

"Since Fred wrote all the checks at this time and Erich never wrote anything, Fred was the only one responsible for NA spending."

That's a contemptible deception. Fred wrote the checks. Erich decided which checks would be written. Fred did not choose where NA money would be spent; he simply obeyed Erich while warning him that he was overspending.

"Fred did complain to me about too much spending and not enough income. The first thing I did when I got there was have a CPA go through the records, make up a business report and many graphs, showing monthly net and expenses. I showed these to Fred..."

Fred said that Shaun did not show him any such report.

"When I asked Dr. Bob about [the NA losing money], he didn't know as he never checked these either, but also repeated the statement. I offered to show him otherwise, but he didn't care and that was that."

The above statement isn't true, either. Dr. Bob's Ph.D. is in business, and he probably knows more about business than Shaun Walker ever will. Dr. Bob said that Shaun never questioned him about the NA's loss of money, much less offered to prove that it wasn't losing money.

"There was a rumor that the 'Cut-Throat' cd was stolen by Erich. I was there when the CD's arrived. There was a proper packing invoice that stated: 1,000 CDs: 500 with case, 500 without. Somehow, he and Kitti now say there where 2,000 CD's and Erich must have stolen the other half. But the bill, which I gave to Fred and he paid, was only for 1,000 CD's. Fred paid this bill and looked at it. He never paid for 2,000 CDs. He just doesn't know how to read a packing invoice or he's just making things up."

Let me take a deep breath before unraveling that verbal trickery.

First, it was never alleged that the other thousand Cut-Throat CDs were sent to the NA warehouse. Rather, it is alleged that Erich had that other thousand CDs pressed and sent to a separate location. Thus, the packing invoice on the package of Cut-Throat CDs sent to the NA warehouse has nothing whatever to do with the alleged theft.

Second, it was never alleged that the NA Financial Officer (Fred) paid for the illicit thousand Cut-Throat CDs. Rather, it is alleged that Erich paid for their duplication separately. Thus, the amount of the checks that Fred wrote would have nothing whatever to do with the alleged theft.

When someone accused of theft begins denying allegations that weren't made in the pretense that he is proving false those that were made, what does it suggest?

"Bryant Cechinni, who goes under the alias of Byron Calvert..."

His name is Byron Calvert Cechinni. He dropped the Italian last name because he liked Calvert better.

"...who has hated Dr P and Erich because Dr P fired him 2 years ago for skimming from Resistance Records."

The only thing true in that is the firing. I understand that Byron is contemptuous of Erich because of Erich's alleged dishonesty in business dealing. Byron didn't hate Dr. Pierce, not even after he was fired by Dr. Pierce. Byron was not fired for "skimming from Resistance Records," either. He was fired for talking too much in a way that Erich found embarrassing.

"So, the palace Coup has done the following. The maintenance man and one of the data entry employees no longer work there. This will take 1-2 month to retrain and is in the process. A bunch of useless harassments to the NA and our Chairman were thrown at the NA and these have been overcome. Erich, who had given lots of lateral freedom to the staff member was stabbed in the back."

It's a little worse than that. The "maintenance man" is also the fellow who directed the building of the Resistance Records/National Vanguard Books warehouse and the unfinished meeting hall. He dug the septic systems for various NA buildings. He represented in his person the skills of carpenter, mason, plumber, electrician, automechanic, forester, lumberjack and other things besides. Men with Fred Streed's array of skills don't come along very often. And Fred wasn't greedy; he was a low-cost employee.

It isn't true that Erich has anyone on his staff that can use the inventory-membership database. Erich thinks that he has found it on Marta's computer, but he's wrong. Marta's file security system had to anticipate that enemies might one day invade the building and carry off Marta's computer. Erich's clever staff have been trying to make use of a decoy: a corrupted version of an old database.

In its earlier stages, the database program sometimes had to be emailed to the programmer who wrote it for bug fixes. For security reasons, the database was archived under a password, then file-split into small pieces, which were named something misleading (letter.doc) and attached to emails sent from any of several accounts controlled by Marta to any of several accounts controlled by the programmer. In order to reassemble the database, one had to have ALL of the parts, one had to know how properly to rename those parts, one had to have the rejoin program, one had to have the password to the archive file. These sessions of remote bug-fixing taught Marta a few things about file security. Even were Marta to recover the database for them, they'd still be a long way from being able to use the software.

And, I notice, Shaun forgot yours truly, the former National Vanguard Books editor, who produced The Lightning and the Sun, Blood Ritual, and Which Way Western Man, among other things.

"Fred claims he wasn't doing this coup for himself, but wanted to put Alex Linder in charge."

Fred resigned and called for Erich to resign. He does not want to put Alex Linder in charge.

"At present, Kitti, Marta and Fred are doing all they can to hurt the NA."

That's the opposite of the truth. Those people are the only ones who can save the NA. If none of these political squabbles had occurred, the NA would soon be in or near bankruptcy anyway, due to Erich's mismanagement. The political squabbling does threaten to take the NA down faster than it might have gone down otherwise, but that's the extent of it.

"It's classic. Either they run the NA, or they try to tear it down."

Notice that, now, Fred, Marta and Kitti supposely want to run the NA themselves; Shaun has forgotten that a moment ago he had cast Fred into the role of king-maker in favor of Alex Linder. Fred has no ambition to run the NA. He does not want Alex to be the next Chairman. He would like to help the National Alliance to survive, but Erich Gliebe's resignation or removal as Chairman is necessary to that end.

If Fred, Bob and Kitti had wanted to take over the National Alliance while all of them were still directors thereof, it would have been simple: call a meeting and vote. Presto: Erich would have been out of a job and the weight of the law would have been behind Fred, Bob and Kitti. Instead, Bob resigned in protest to Erich's spending policies, leaving Fred and Kitti on the NA board. Then Fred became angry and resigned. He now realizes that resigning was imprudent, since his resignation left the NA Board with only one director other than Erich: insufficient to remove Erich by a Board vote.

And that's really the irreducible flaw in the accounts of those who would attribute power-crazed schemes to Fred Streed. When it was in Fred's power to take over, or, at least, to kick Erich out by calling for a vote of the directors, he did not do so.

"Fred said that 'Erich was incapable of making tough decisions.' Not so and he's proved his mettle once again in the last few weeks by making many tough decisions and staying the course... The fact that people can yell scream and write nasty posts on the internet, trying to force Erich to do their bidding, and not budge Erich, shows that Erich is no one's pawn."

All Erich has proved is that he reacts badly to criticism, even when the critics have the best interests of the organization at heart. As a Chairman, he's a lying, incompetent bully who takes liberties with due process and who, if his accusers are right, may be a thief.

"Fred, Marta and Kitti have asked Erich to do lots of things. And Erich, being the Chairman of the NA, with the sole control over the NA, has not done what they wanted. So, they tried a coup."

Nope. They made criticisms and got fired. That's what happened to me, too.² I was fired after criticizing Erich's decision to fire Fred and Marta. It's Erich, not Fred or Marta or Kitti, who would rather destroy the NA than give up power.

( ²More exactly, I quit and walked out of the NA office building, taking my computer with me. And then Erich fired me in a notice which he hired a private detective to hand to me.)

Erich doesn't have "sole control" over the NA. The law says that he shares control with the other directors of the NA Board, and any contrary notion that Erich may have is in conflict with the NA by-laws and with the laws of Virginia.

"...It got nowhere, but it might have confused some NA members and supporters. The NA is quite solid."

No, it's not. Shaun is wrong about the extent to which Erich's new staff can operate the business of National Alliance and National Vanguard Books. Contrary to their claims, they're still in serious trouble without the former, competent office staff.

But why are Erich's people telling this particular lie? I can imagine only two possibilities. They might believe that they can learn what the original staff knew how to do in time to avoid an irretrievable failure of the business. Or it might be their plan to cause such a demise and then loot the corporate corpse for whatever they can grab.

Erich fired the original staff and, at one point, tried to justify it by saying it was better to have younger people because they would be able to work longer before retiring. Aside from the fact that age isn't the primary factor in whether an employee will stay the course at NA-HQ for many years, you don't fire the expert senior staff before the junior staff has been trained to replace them, unless you intend to cause the failure of the business.

"Regarding Alex Linder and VNN... [VNN] reads as if some washed-up, lonely, middle-aged bachelor that lives in his grandmothers basement just used VNN for his personal hobby."

A cheap shot. Alex Linder does live in his grandmother's basement—to take care of her in her final years. And VNN is his personal hobby. The "washed-up, lonely" bit carries unwarranted pejorative.

"Bill White is responsible for these latest round of non-sense and for driving a wedge between Fred and the Chairman."

That statement is false. Bill White might have his own agenda, but it has nothing to do with me, Fred, Marta, or Dr. Bob. The involvement of these former staff members with Bill White is limited to using his forum and carries no implied endorsement of Bill White.

Part 8. Erich Gliebe illegally disbands the old NA Board of Directors and appoints a new, hand-picked one.

Erich Gliebe sent fraudulent paperwork to the Virginia State Corporation Commission, falsely representing his changes to the NA Board of Directors, made by his own decree, as having been accomplished per Virginia state law. His changes were accepted by the Commonwealth of Virginia on 11 August 2003, meaning that Erich moved more quickly into illegality than I'd thought.

As I said in Part 2, Erich Gliebe has gone a long way with brazen, often illegal, power-grabs. He has essentially stolen the National Alliance from its own Board of Directors, holds it through the intimidation, harrassment and general nastiness of his followers, and he has so far gotten away with it. The tactics that Erich chose has succeeded in making the rightful directors of the National Alliance weary of responding to each one of his moves and tricks. The respect that Kitti Molz, Fred Streed and those on their side have for fair rules and for due process has worked against them.

It remains possible to bring legal action against Erich, and in court it could be shown that Erich broke laws in making his changes to the NA authority structure. But fighting it out in court would cost much, not only in money but in social karma, and getting the NA back from Erich would probably entail the organization's rapid demise. In short, it isn't worth doing, even though by not doing it Erich is allowed to keep what he has stolen: about a half million dollars in money and real estate.

Erich has options left to him. He can sell the 400-acre tract that Dr. Pierce bought and reconfigure the NA as a mailbox-and-travelling-salesman operation. I believe that Erich is contemplating selling the land to a wealthy neighbor named Boyd Thompson. Mr. Thompson, a sharp businessman, will surely buy it, if he sees a good deal. When I spoke to Mr. Thompson in the afternoon of 8 September, he said that he was gladly anticipating an offer in the near future.

In that case, if his history of land development is any guide, Mr. Thompson would probably subdivide the property into about 200 two-acre lots of mostly hardwood forest, which he might sell for about $10,000 each. Mr. Thompson isn't a racialist, and he'd as readily sell one of these lots to a nigger or a Jew as to a White family. Imagine that: Dr. Pierce burial site being squatted on by the very people that he spent his life defending his race from.

But Erich doesn't need to sell right away, if he doesn't want to. Dr. Pierce built up a substantial hedge fund. Even without turning a profit on any of the NA businesses, even if more of his cohorts take expensive tours through Europe at NA expense, and even if the membership dwindles to a few hundred people for whom cultural festivals and getting their pictures or names in the Bulletin is gratification enough, the NA will take longer to sink than the Titanic did. However, the end result will be about the same.

The pattern of overspending that Dr. Bob noticed and whispered about, that Fred Streed noticed and published about, will continue, until the NA gives up the ghost. Remember, the pattern of financial loss was evident even when Erich had a staff that knew what it was doing and did it well. Things have gotten a great deal worse for the NA since Erich "cleansed" NA-HQ of its former competence.

The vital essence that made the National Alliance special died with Dr. Pierce. The fading glow of its purpose lingered in memory and sustained the organization for about a year thereafter. But as it faded a sense of hollowness, or maybe out-of-kilterness, grew. The glow is completely gone now, and in its place is something ugly that smacks of crime and of sideshow and, perhaps, of hidden enemy pressure/control.

Many former members of the National Alliance sensed this and have already dropped out, perhaps to seek another organization that still has a solid sense of its revolutionary purpose. Good luck to them. I will soon be doing likewise. Many of those who remain members of the National Alliance will soon see the necessity of doing that, too.

Part 9. Erich Gliebe takes a moral "high tone" while lying to the NA membership in the Bulletin.

To follow are some statements made by Erich Gliebe in the recently published National Alliance Bulletin. I have made it my purpose to reply to any false or equivocal statement he might make in connection with the recent political trouble at NA-HQ, so that those who must judge him may know what the truth is.

Erich: Recently, I and other leaders in the Alliance have come under some heavy attacks from within our organization. These attacks have included character assassination, accusations of incompetence and mismanagement of funds, and claims of criminal activity.

Erich's taking a lofty tone with his statements here, as politicians do. He knows that he must give the impression of being dignified and of having the high moral ground. He doesn't, but nobody has accused Erich of being a bad politician.

It isn't true that Erich has been the victim of "character assassination." Erich has people working for him who carry out character assassinations on his behalf, notably David Pringle, while Erich stands aside and pretends that he isn't involved in it.

Accusations of incompetence and mismanagement have been leveled against Erich. True ones.

He has been accused of crimes involving thefts of Resistance stock, thefts of money due to be paid bands as royalties, and he has been accused of illegally hijacking authority within the National Alliance that rightfully belongs to its original Board of Directors. I can attest that the last of those accusations is true. As to the others, I don't know. They're plausible enough to warrant an investigation.

(It recently came to my attention that Erich has failed to pay an author, whose book was published by National Vanguard Books, royalties due to be paid him per contract. The book is Blood Ritual, by Philip de Vier.)

Erich: Many of you may have read about these attacks on the Internet. Without mentioning any names, I’d like to take the time here to clear up some of this mess.

One of the places you can read such "attacks" is this web page, except that they aren't attacks. They are necessary corrections to some of the lies that Erich's minions have been spreading. Erich's saying that he wants to clear up the mess is amusing: he's doing damage control, much as he had Shaun Walker doing it for him with his Stormfront letter, to which I have replied in Part 7.

Erich: Like every organization, the Alliance goes through personnel changes from time to time. And, like the members of every organization, we sometimes have disagreements among ourselves, and the resulting arguments can lead to hard feelings and poor working relationships.

Let me go over how those "disagreements" began. Dr. Bob DeMarais has a Ph.D. in business. He can tell when a company is headed for serious financial problems, and until May 2003 he was the Director of the National Alliance in charge of accounts and bookkeeping. Since Erich took over the Chairmanship of the National Alliance in August 2002, a marked pattern of overspending had emerged, and the financial trend was taking the NA into trouble. Dr. Bob began warning Erich on the quiet about the situation, but nothing changed. So Bob resigned, which meant that somebody else had to be the Financial Officer.

That someone was Fred Streed. Fred doesn't have a degree in business, but he's a smart fellow, and he looked over the books and became alarmed. Knowing that whispering quiet warnings into Erich's ear didn't work, he wanted to be sure that Erich would have no way of making plausible denials of knowing where the organization's finances were headed. He posted a letter to Vanguard News Network that criticized Erich's mismanagement of National Alliance funds and called upon Erich to resign. Bill White, always on the lookout for a thrilling story, lifted Fred's letter off VNN and put it on Overthrow.

Erich subsequently fired Fred. Erich declared that Fred had "attacked the National Alliance" and that Fred was conspiring with Bill White to take over the National Alliance. Both of those statements were lies. Fred's post was a criticism of Erich's policies, not an attack on the National Alliance, and by making that post Fred was trying to stave off the eventual disaster that Erich's spending was leading toward.

Marta, who had made no critical comment in public, was shut out of her office for a week before she was "officially" told that she was fired, too. During that week, Erich called the state police when Fred, let into the building by one of Erich's new-hires, tried to get his personal belongings from his former office. What a guy, huh?

Erich had those new-hires inform me that I was still in Erich's favor and that I should not be concerned that I might lose my own job. But when I saw the way Erich treated Fred and Marta, there was no way I'd ever work for him again. I posted my own complaints about Erich's behavior, and then I packed up my computer and left the building. Did you ever see a movie where somebody leaps from a burning car right before the gas tank explodes? A few days after I moved my stuff, Erich hired a private investigator to find me and hand me a notice saying that I was fired and that I was not welcome on the property.

Erich has asked us to believe that Fred cannot be trusted. Erich has also told NA Local Unit leaders to swear an oath of personal loyalty to himself, in effect demanding they affirm his own trustworthiness, whatever he may choose to do or say. But which of them, Fred or Erich, has most proven faithful to the National Alliance? Fred worked beside Dr. Pierce for 11 years, longer than anyone else did. Fred took only a small salary, and he never complained about his circumstances. His devotion was pure.

Erich came on board as a businessman.

Erich: When members who have signed up to work for the Alliance full-time find their working environment less than ideal, they sometimes quit. We can’t offer our staffers $50,000-$100,000 a year plus benefits, the way our enemies can. People can put up with hard feelings better, and will often stay put, if they are making decent money.

Someone like Fred Streed will stay put even if he isn't making a lot of money. Fred was never in the National Alliance for the sake of money. Erich probably is, though. I'm thinking in particular that Erich wants to be able to spend all the National Alliance's money as though it were his very own.

Erich's implication is that the loyalties of Dr. Bob, Fred, and Marta are subject to being bought, and that implication is another lie; in fact, it is a veiled character assassination. And me? I didn't get paid at all. I was a volunteer who showed up now and then, for five years, to proofread Free Speech, create the NVB Catalog, conduct research for educational leaflets and pamphlets, and get books ready for publication.

Erich: In addition, as Chairman of the Alliance, I am entrusted with moving the organization ahead as I see fit and to the best of my ability. That means that occasionally I have the unpleasant job of firing people who I feel are threatening the integrity of the organization.

What Erich is alluding to is the myth that the Chairman of the National Alliance has authority over the National Alliance that transcends what the Non-Stock Corporation Act of the Virginia Code allows him. It is another thinly veiled lie. Erich was never entrusted with the power he has usurped, and his consolidation of power was accomplished by fraud.

Further, Erich hasn't fired anyone for "threatening the integrity of the organization." He fired people for criticizing him, or for embarrassing him.

Erich: Upset by my actions, some of these individuals or their friends make Web postings intended to undermine my credibility and that of other National Office staffers.

Erich probably means me. But I do nothing other than tell the truth. Erich and his helpers have done quite a good job of wrecking his own credibility: by mismanaging the NA financially; by firing all the competent staff; by complaining about character assassinations while perpetrating them; and by lying about everything. Shaun Walker's letter was full of lies that Erich probably told him to publish (so that Erich himself could deny responsibility if it were challenged). David Pringle has tried to assassinate my character, which makes me laugh because there's simply no contest about which of us would win a mud-slinging war if I really wanted to engage him in one.

Erich: While the Web is a wonderful tool for us to use in disseminating our message, it is also — unfortunately — the ideal medium for fast propagation of lies and gossip. It goes without saying that one can’t believe everything one reads on the Web.

Or in the Bulletin. What counts isn't the medium, but who's talking.

Erich: There is no doubt that some of the criticism leveled against me and the National Office is warranted. Many members enjoy our periodicals, and it is true that both National Vanguard and Resistance magazines are behind schedule again. We are trying to get back on track with those projects — a task which has multiplied in difficulty due to the recent staffing problems.

Translation: Erich fired the people who could get those periodicals published, and the people he hired to replace them can't do it. Why did he hire them, then? Because they have taken Erich Gliebe's side in his usurpation of authority over the National Alliance. Their abilities and shortcomings in regard to doing the work isn't Erich's major criterion for selecting officers and staff members. Because of this, those publications will get further, and further, behind schedule.

Even with the original staff, the National Alliance would sometimes be late with a publication for several months in succession, as staff members (sometimes me) had to get something else done right away and the publication was put on hold. The problem then wasn't that the talent was lacking, but one editor can only do so much, so fast. But in the end, the original staff always caught up.

Not anymore. Free Speech won't get caught up, unless Erich converts it into an quarterly or a semi-annual publication, with a selection of (sloppily proofread) transcribed speeches from American Dissident Voices, rather than a complete record thereof. Who's going to do the research for the next "Who Rules America?" And don't expect National Vanguard Books to publish another book anytime soon. Kevin Strom is now his only employee who knows how to do that, and Kevin is busy. When Erich fired me, I had completed four volumes of a series that would have eventually held Dr. Pierce's complete works. It's a shame that National Vanguard Books no longer has me on staff to finish the job. Erich really has gutted National Vanguard Books.

Erich: We have been accused of not being innovative in getting our message out to the public. In particular, it has been voiced that we need a daily news outlet, whereby White people can view the news through our viewpoint on a continual and regular basis. We are working on an online version of National Vanguard to fill this niche in our media arsenal...

I figured that might happen. The statements "it has been voiced that we need a daily news outlet" and "we are working on an online version" are spin, people. Erich probably means that the print version that was promised to the subscribers will be phased out and replaced by a cheap webpage version. He's trying to make this look like progress for the same reason that the government of North Korea started pushing the notion that one small meal a day is healthy. It is, in fact, a time-saving and cost-cutting measure made necessary because the National Alliance can no longer afford to produce a high-quality printed magazine.

Erich: ...and there are several other projects in the works. We have also been deficient in developing video presentations and promoting Whites-only businesses. Clearly, there is much work ahead of us.

Don't hold your breath. I will, at times, remind my readers that Erich has promised "several other projects" and "video presentations." Your guess about which projects these are and when they will be completed is as good as mine.

Erich: In addressing the problems we are facing, we at the National Office are open to constructive criticism. If you don’t like the way the Alliance is headed, then make your feelings known to me and other leaders in the Alliance. Unfortunately, some of our members became disaffected, and chose to present their grievances publicly rather than within the Alliance. Such public airings — which the Jews look upon with glee — are counterproductive.

That's a bald-faced deception. Dr. Bob gave Erich some necessary constructive criticism, and it was spoken softly to him alone. Erich ignored Dr. Bob's advice and went right on spending money. Dr. Bob quit his job in protest. Fred took over the bookkeeping chores, discovered that Dr. Bob was right, and to motivate Erich to correct his profligacy he made a public criticism of Erich's performance and called upon Erich to resign as Chairman.

If the Jews dance with glee at the sight of dissention within the National Alliance, imagine how much greater their pleasure will be when Erich Gliebe runs it aground. The people Erich fired were more loyal to the organization than Erich is. Erich's motive is primarily his own power.

Besides that, Erich's habitual method for solving problems is either (1) doing nothing while the problems grow or (2) blundering about in whatever way he thinks makes him appear decisive. His hesitancy prior to taking action results from his having become acquainted with his intellectual limits. And in respect of the latter, he has a way of accomplishing his purpose in one sense, while getting himself more deeply enmired in others, simply because, when he does anything at all, he plunges into action before apprehending the extent or nature of the problems facing him.

To illustrate the point, suppose Erich, while walking barefoot, accidentally stuck his big toe in a pile of pigshit so immense that he could not see the other side. He'd stand there, pondering the situation for a while. Then, instead of withdrawing his toe and reaching for a tissue, he'd plow toward what he thought was the center, no matter how high the offal swamped him, muttering to himself that "Ya gotta do what ya gotta do," on the principle that the sooner he got in over his head, the sooner he'd be able to start getting back out again.

Thus, when Fred publicly criticized Erich on VNN, the publicity goaded Erich into overcoming his well-founded fear of doing the wrong thing through stupidity, and, sure enough, he did the wrong thing in as decisive a manner as he possibly could. True to form, he's been working his way deeper into the pigshit ever since and dragging the National Alliance along behind him.

Erich: Finally, as far as the claims against me are concerned: The allegations of criminal activity on my part are absolutely untrue, concocted by people who seek to discredit me. Any firing of staff members that I carried out, I did in what I perceived to be the best interests of the Alliance.

Every last person of proven loyalty, endurance, and competence that had been on his staff, Erich either fired him or revolted him so badly that he quit in disgust. This left Erich with a crippled business, a hopelessly inexperienced set of new-hires, but without access to the actual membership-inventory database. He filed fraudulent paperwork with the Virginia Corporation Commission, wherein he illegally removed his co-directors from the state records and replaced them with his supporters. How is this supposed to be in "the best interests of the Alliance"? It isn't. Erich did what he did because his former staff and co-directors had judged him incompetent, which he is, and it was the only way he could remain the Top Guy.

Erich: During my year as Chairman, I acknowledge that mistakes have been made. No leader makes the right decision every time, and no leader makes everyone happy. But in the building of our real community — as opposed to a virtual community on the Web alone — we have made great strides.

What Erich isn't saying is that the mistakes made by honest leaders are made in good faith. Erich's mistakes weren't.

Now, what does Erich mean by "in the building of our real community..."? Does this mean he plans to bring, say, a few hundred people to live on the property, perhaps selling White racialist families two-acre lots? That would be a real community, rather than a virtual community. Any community-at-distance is virtual, whether communication be by Internet, telephone, or by the U.S. postal service. When Erich said "real," he implied that he would facilitate bringing people together to live in physical proximity to each other. And that is a worthwhile goal.

But does Erich really mean it? Erich claims that he has made "great strides" in creating this "real community." How? I don't see them, and I can see NA-HQ from my back yard. I can hear people talking down there. If Erich had set up a small town a few hundred feet from my house, I think I'd know about it.

Erich: We are continuing the legacy of Dr. Pierce. As best I can, I will try to build and improve the Alliance so that it will open up a glorious future for our people. I hope you will join me in that effort.

You must give Erich credit for having chutzpah. Erich will probably spend the hedge funds empty (assuming that he doesn't simply steal the money), sell the land, and then try to operate the National Alliance out of a mailbox. Along the way, National Vanguard Books will quietly evaporate insofar as anything tangible is concerned, being transformed into a book retailer, which is pretty much what it has become already. It used to be an actual publishing company, remember. I know. Four of the books it published were formatted by my own hands.

If, instead, Erich keeps the property until he can resell it by parcels to White nationalists on the condition that they move here and build homes, then he will have made good for many of his sins. And though the National Alliance might eventually go under as a corporation, it could give birth to a White racial community that might ultimately achieve more than a merely political organization could.

Part 10. I reluctantly destroy several years' worth of my own work to comply with National Vanguard Books' intellectual property rights.

Sometime during my employment at National Vanguard Books, I received an order from a customer who is unfortunately in prison. Funds, in the form of a USPS money order, had been provided to pay for the requested items. I returned the money to the customer (though I don't recall the reason). The prison mailroom officer sent the money order back to my mailbox (P.O. Box 147) with the explanation that prisoners weren't allowed to receive money orders.

On 20 October 2003, I hand delivered the letter, with the money order inside, to the door of the main office building of NA-HQ. No one was inside the building, so I left the envelope wedged tightly in the crack between the doors. (If it had rained, it might have gotten wet despite the overhanging roof, but there was no danger that it would blow away.)

The next day, 21 October 2003, I received at my mailbox a note from the customer with instructions about where to send the money order. Since I had already given it to Erich's minions at NA-HQ, it was sensible to give them the customer's instructions, also.

Here's where I learned that it is never wise to do squat for Gliebe's crew. Shaun Walker came out of the building and criticized me sharply for leaving the envelope where I did, obviously trying to put me on the defensive. He then mentioned the FBI in connection with my returning National Vanguard Books' mail to those who had sent it, hinting that I was in Big Trouble.

The reason I returned a number of mails to their senders is that I had opened them. I'd received them while I was working for National Vanguard Books, but was fired before I could fill the customers' orders. If I had turned them directly over to Erich or Shaun, there was some risk that they would steal the money and then claim that I did it. I chose to trust in the integrity of several complete strangers, rather than that of the Gliebe Gang. I paid the expense of the return postage and took the trouble of writing explanatory letters, indicating that the customer should resubmit his order so that the "new management" could receive it without my intermediation.

Those parcels and letters that I had not opened, I returned to the post office to be given to whoever picks up the mail for National Vanguard Books nowadays. Since the postal clerks were witness to their unopened state, it was safe for me to do this.

But this section is not here to discuss what I did with the mail. Shaun mentioned that as a way of putting me on the defensive, and it suited me to pretend that I had been so positioned. His real purpose was to browbeat me into giving him files from my computer: he mentioned, in particular, National Vanguard Books Catalog 20, which I created in 2002.

One thing you need to know is that I was never a paid employee of National Vanguard Books. Even though I was its president for a while, I never drew a salary or a paycheck. I was a volunteer worker throughout my time with the National Alliance.

For that reason, it's possible that I own the copyright to certain materials published by National Vanguard Books, even though a copyright notice by National Vanguard Books appears somewhere on the inside cover. If a man writes a book about the Brooklyn Bridge or Mt. Rushmore, he owns the book's copyright (though not the landmark) until he sells it. If a man writes a book about the inventory of National Vanguard Books, he owns the copyright (though not the inventory) until he sells it. Who paid me to get the rights to sell the two NVB catalogs that I prepared? Nobody. I don't have any plans at present to explore the issue, but it's an interesting point.

Assuming, however, that National Vanguard Books truly holds the copyright to Catalogs 19 and 20, descriptive of National Vanguard Books inventory, there remains the fact that I wasn't paid to produce them. In that case, the most Erich or Shaun can demand of me is that I destroy all copies in my possession. So although I left Shaun with the impression that I would provide him with a copy of Catalog 20, what I did immediately after returning to my house was destroy every file on my computer that could be construed as belonging to National Vanguard Books or National Allian
